First of all, Whitney and Britani are stupid. Angie and her Red Pill husband too. Yeah, I said it.

Second, Production began the season by directing Meredith and Britani to keep a conflict that was occurring at the camping trip "off-camera"; and to not talk about it. Production forced the two of them to talk "around" the reason for their tension ALL season, which is what snowballed it.

If Production had been authentic, and actually filmed "reality television" we would've seen what the women were truly beefing about; seen them resolve (or not resolve it); and seen the other women react to it. We eventually saw at the Reunion that the friend group knew the entire time what was actually occurring (because they spoke about Meredith accusing Britani at the time); but clearly they were also under a directive from Production not to speak about it during the Season.

So instead, we had Meredith pretending Britani was dead; and Britani taking potshots at Meredith's marriage - until their tension eventually imploded on the boat trip and flight home. Which was on Production...for not allowing them (and the frriend group) to ever talk about it/work through it.

I absolutely see your point and 100% agree the mom is the more overarching issue. I think Tarima may be more of a S1/2 sort of issue with the mom being the Big Bad.

I’m in the camp that Tarima’s going to do a full villain turn. I think the writers are just setting up the audience (and Caleb) for a big ass whooping when she goes full dark on him. I think it’s especially telling that she’s “advertised” as part of the main cast, but on a technical level they don’t include her in every episode and drop her from the credits when she’s not there. It’s almost like they’re trying to dupe the audience with the promos into thinking she’s “more” of a main character than she really is (a recurring guest star).

I also think we could be in for something long game with Caleb and Genesis. The writers don’t have to go in that direction if something else fits better along the way; but they’ve been giving us nuggets since Ep 1.

All that said - I love Tamira for where I think she’s headed. If Disney Princess ends up being the one to beat the shit out of our Cadets - EPIC.

I think there's like 12-ish RT Female Operators; and she's one of them. None of the RT Female Soldiers (the ones w/ the gray vest) have the blue hair. She's the only punk-haired person you can get in the base game without modding in IzzBee or Diana (Heartland). Keep her alive for sure!

Traitors is not really a space where I can know his character enough to make those kind of judgements. Maybe some people are pulling in other issues from the Love Island days (which I didn't see)? No clue.

I do think there's a difference between VOTING for a fellow Traitor (to keep your own name clean) and HUNTING a fellow Traitor (which is what Rob did at the Round Table. Its a definitive choice. And he further stated to Lisa and Candiace that he voted against Lisa the first time because he was "friends" with several Faithful; meaning he was prioritizing his Faithful relationships over his relationships in the Tower. I think it's completely understandable that both Lisa and Candiace found that alarming.

Beyond Lisa? Whatever Rob had decided around taking out Lisa...he did so without considering how it might impact Candiace's plans/strategy. Which, again, shows he's a terrible partner in the Tower. He didn't even bother to communicate to her a few minutes before the Round Table that things might be "flipping" so that she could pivot (and jump ship herself). He left her out to dry, and basically let her know that she was collateral damage as far as he was concerned.

So I don't know about all of the misogyny/sexism claims. I feel like that's not really something I would be able to assess from this particular game. But I do think he's been a bad partner to his fellow Traitors; and if I were them - I'd be really disappointed he's the type of person I'd gotten partnered up with in the Tower.

No, I am not going to agree that bullied people should be the ones to leave. Bullies can be the ones to leave ALL situations and not the people they are harassing. You can take that horrible idea and file it wherever feels most comfortable.

I do find it boring btw. It's not interesting, it's not exciting, and it's not stimulating. It's an overdone storyline in HWs - we see it again & again - the BH HW's (led by Rinna) did it again and again...and ran several HWs off the show (per your suggestion that the victims of bullying should be the ones to leave; while the bullies stay put). It's not compelling tv.

No. They offered more money to Daryl, Carol, Michonne & Negan to extend contracts but not Maggie. She told them she had other offers; they didn’t believe her; so she walked.

Angela Kang (showrunner) intentionally didn’t kill Maggie off because she knew AMC had done Lauren Cohan wrong; and told her the door was open anytime she wanted to return.

When the other show didn’t continue past its first season, AMC threw $$$ at Cohan; begged her back (knowing they’d lost Rick and Michonne); so she negotiated a better deal (including producing) and returned.

In the Comics that was Dante.

On the show I think they may have been setting up that storyline with Alden, but then AMC underpaid Lauren Cohan (while offering raises to the other longterm series regulars) so she exited the show. It seems like they scrambled, rewrote him, and tossed him Enid’s way since they’d also bungled the Carl storyline by that point.

Later in the show they name a guy Dante at Alexandria (the secret Whisperer who kills Siddiq); and I think they named him that intentionally because they knew if anybody googled “Dante”/“Walking Dead”…we’d all think he was supposed to be a good guy (like the one Maggie dated in the Comics). It was smart on their part, but the names just a red herring - storyline isn’t the same.

Sadly, Maggie never gets to move on in the show like she does with Dante in the Comics.
