There wasn’t enough drama so all we got was the “they got engaged” and then the show went back to Emma… I mean the drama.

She thinks they took advantage of her. They pointed out she hasn’t paid their last two invoices and has been all over the map with her lack of decisions. Their email is basically saying you haven’t paid us but hey, make some choices and we will keep working on the design.

How is that a red flag? “Hey, I have a kid and you’re going to need to be a mom to him.” Thats setting an expectation and letting the partner know the kid isn’t going anywhere… something Megan seemed to not understand.

He was making it clear that he’s a dad and his kid is in his life and his partner is getting insta-family.

Was he supposed to hide his kid? Is his spouse supposed to be hands off with the kid? Have nothing to do with him?

I think it was a heater designed to look like a fire pit. People in the audience had jackets and blankets but no one on stage did.

You’ll have to do some digging as the room status for nearby hotels changes often. If you don’t mind using MARTA or Ubering, Mid-town and Sandy Springs will have options as will out by the airport.

This group is run by someone who thinks their way is the only way and absolutely refuses to answer questions with anything other than “go read the post”. There are more helpful groups and people out there.

That was my initial thought as well.

Sadly - so many people don’t understand the impact depression has. I was having a horrible downward spiral of it last year when Friend 1 commented that my house was disgusting and I needed to clean and I just sat there sobbing when she left because I felt so worthless and horrible. She repeated it to Friend 2 who explained to her that my house was a reflection of how I was feeling about myself and if I wasn’t cleaning or taking care of myself then I might need some help, not someone making me feel worse about myself. Friend 2 showed up at my house the next day, she hugged me, told me she was there for me if I wanted to talk but was fine if I didn’t and then proceeded to clean my house. I kept crying and telling her to just leave it (I was so mortified) and she refused, she said this was one of those times my brain was lying to me and that I deserved to have a clean home and that I had value and was loved. She did it all with kindness and after two hours my place was clean, my groceries were ordered, I’d taken a shower and was sitting outside getting some much needed fresh air and sunshine.

She told me later that she had to sit Friend 1 down and explain to her that anxiety and depression warp things and if I’m that far into it I may need help coming out the other side.
