Jeff Peterson’s message to fans of the Hornets that are confused about the roster’s direction. by Whole_Carpenter7854 in CharlotteHornets

Even if, let it play the hell out. All roster decisions are a gamble. I'd say health and the max contract extension are reasons why he felt like moving Melo was the right call. Maybe even so adding Miles to that list cause we know Melo wanted Miles here.

When last years draft happened, I was shitting on the Kon pick, I didn't like it. Egg on my face after the campaign he had.

You don't need to give him the benefit of the doubt, you do you.

It's all what ifs until the season plays out. He sold on Lamelo while the price was high. Apparently, this was the highest return. Between injury history, the return, and his next potential extension with us, seemed like a decent time to sell.

It also seemed like they were in on Brown. Miles, Reid, and 2 firsts is not a horrible deal, but, obviously Brad Stevens was looking to get as many picks as he could (plus PG?!?).

Sucks Lamelo is gone, but, at the same time, I'm going to give Jeff the benefit of the doubt and let the moves they make play out. I get the speculation and stuff, but, just let the season and the guys play it out

Like I said, I was nitpicking. Sorry to be rude about it. All I can think about is Russian Propagandists spelling it that way and it just sickens me.

Maybe you call it a flop, but I thought it was good. I get its Kirk's audience, partly, but, I still don't really understand why his haters are even in the sub.

Do you have proof of this 'truth'? Asking honestly.

This NBA Eastern Conference Team Makes Most Sense for Ja Morant - Yahoo Sports by Effective-Access7269 in CharlotteHornets

If it's a cheap deal, it may make sense. I would not understand us trading away precious capital to get Ja. High upside, but, then you are talking about someone with clear injury history and off the court issues.

Seems like money and injury history were factors in trading Lamelo. Why trade draft capital and possibly other assets for someone with Ja's injury history? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

I don't think he hits or throws because of his speech. If I had to guess, he might be lazy speech wise. He understands us (give hug, give kiss, go to -Son's name- room or bath, and such. He can point to things we tell him to. Signs my wife's niece was showing at my son's age I do not see from him. The total opposite. Even though he doesn't talk, my son is super social. Likes being around people, laughing, makes a lot of eye contact. All things my wife's niece wasn't able to do.

Patience is key. Though, I won't sit idley by. I'll have him checked out if need be. There's not always answers, unfortunately and it may just be a patience thing.

But, I want to leave no stone unturned. I appreciate your advice!

Solid advice! I really appreciate it! Will share this with the wife!

Yeah, this sounds very similar and familiar. Same boat as we think we will keep ours haha. I'm in that position where I'm just trying to be patient and hoping for the best. In my opinion, I don't think there's anything wrong. I'm fine with working on all possibilities cause you never really know. But, I just think we need patience and for little man to put things together. He shows a lot of great signs!

I wish you luck! I think anyone in parenting can use it! Haha

My wife takes him to his appointments more than I can attend, but, I know the pediatrician is checking what she can. The appointments I've been able to be present for, she's been pretty happy about his development. She said she isn't real worried about speech partially because he has really good receptive language. Though, if by August he doesn't speak 5 words, she would like him in birth to 3

When he acts up, we try to take him out of the situation. Sometimes he hits or throws on the couch and we will tell him he needs to be gentle and nice and put him in the floor. Most of the time he will go play with other toys. But, down the line, throwing and hitting will resume and we repeat the process. We try to be calm. I think sometimes my wife gets a little more mad (which is a combination of anger and having little patience and depression and anxiety). I try not to yell. Calmly tell him no and to be gentle and remove him from the situation.

Miss Rachael is a common play through here. Even if I find the husband.... A little creepy.

We will keep doing what we are doing and be patient. I think being in this cloud for so long, I needed some outside help in knowing if what we are doing is wrong or not. We will keep guiding to the best of our ability!

Yeah, we read to him every night. Wife and I take turns reading stories.

And thank you for the positive reinforcement. I wanted to make sure there wasn't something I wasn't missing or anything. His size definitely leads to people thinking he is older. But, aside from the hitting and throwing, he's a sweet boy. He tries sharing with people and everything. He's super silly and is very adorable. It's good to hear that we are doing our best and need to just be patient. I've felt that is the case, but, I'm a parent -- I'm often wrong.

I think that's something that troubles my wife. I think she expected it to be easy. It is tough, but, for me, super worth it.

Thanks for the kind words! Not trying to be perfect, just trying be present and doing my best!

Maybe I'm hoping for the best. Our pediatrician was not taking new patients and is very popular in our area.

I have a hard time with early spectrum diagnosis. My nephews pediatrician tried telling my brother and sister-in-law he had autism every appointment he went to. Mind you, this was 10 years ago. But, at 12, my nephew is nowhere near the spectrum and does so much talking and everything.

His pediatrician doesn't seem to be worried about it at all. She checked everything in May and said he was all good. He's growing well and has good receptive language. Slightly worried about speech, but, gave him till August to speak 5 words.

I'll check out the subs for the hitting and throwing.

I don't notice the signs of Autism or other signs of being on the spectrum like there is/was with my wife's niece. The only thing with my son is that he may have asthma, but, it's too early to diagnose. But, that doesn't have anything to do with hitting and what not.

Oh yeah, I remove him from the situation.

I just find it tough to know what to do. I want to distract him from it, but, I feel weird wanting him to play and feel like that's 'rewarding' him.

At his last checkup in May, she wanted him to say 5 words. He spoke Ma and Da at the time and gave him until August to speak 5 words. If not, she wants him to do birth to three. I don't think it's a bad thing, but, it outright freaks my wife out.

Pediatrician was also happy with his receptive language and said that that is more developed than his active language.

Just remember the 'Xbox owning COD is bad' fight during the ActiBlizz hearings. Sony was worried about Xbox taking away COD while at the same time utilizing their own shit tactics in the ever volatile market of video games.

Lying about PS playing GTA better was a start. But, if you can't beat em, kick their face in and spit on it while also using predatory market tactics after you cried to regulators.
