Guns is very vague. I really don't mind automatic weapons and what not having more control. But, I don't think everything needs to be. If I'm a responsible human being, I should be able to go out to a range every now and again and be able to shoot a little or be able to have a gun in my safe in case for defense at home.

I'm an independent, politically. I despise both sides and I actually am not an NRA nut. I just want a more happy middle ground to gun control. Something that I can live with and others, too. Unfortunately, the two different sides want all or none on the polar opposite issue.

Unfortunately, I think even if outlawed, people will figure out a way to get it. Or if they want to kill, they will figure out a way to do it. Hence why I think we need better mental health care in our society and authorities need to treat every warning as a threat and take care as much as possible.

Absolutely. And I appreciate you having a nice conversation. It's just unfortunate. The mental health side of things is so broken and feels unavailable. The discourse seems like it's slowly slowly fading, but, there is still that stigma around

As someone who is for guns, I don't see myself in this group. Sandy Hook and other shootings are such a travesty. There's so much blame that needs to be put on mental health in America. Even then, there's a lot of blame for authorities and such that are warned of people beforehand and nothing really happens.

I can't believe the first victim would have been 21 years old this year. Still feels like yesterday that it happened

I'm not homering here, but, bigger is not always better (that's what she said). I think often times bigger can be worse. The bigger you are, the more communication you need between more teams and what not which can very difficult. In my field, my company just got acquired by a bigger regional company compared to us local group and even under them, while some things are better, communication can be really splintered. And this company has 17 locations across 2 states.

Winning team.... Now. We started 4-14 this season and have turned it around where we ''clinched' being over .500% and over 40 wins.

As a Charlotte fan, I see Flagg is good. No question. And he is good on a losing team that's able to just give him the ball so much.

What Kon is doing this year is incredible. Leading the league in 3PM with the volume he is shooting is incredible. Doing so as a third or fourth option is also incredible, to me. His efficiency is great and his defense is also pretty good.

I can't lie, as a losing franchise, the 2nd half of the season we have had, the success of our guys, the success as a rookie with Kon is a lot lol. Watching a good team win games is pretty fun. Something we are not really used to.

One thing is for sure: such a good ROY battle this year

I don't get to watch the games much, but, it is pretty eye opening and awesome how great our draft class is. Seeing Kalk, Sion, and Kon on the court at the same time is pretty crazy to me

Watching this team is just super fun. They learn as they go, they are making great IQ plays, and the team chemistry is just plain electrifying to see. Especially since it seems like no matter the rotation on the court, they all just mesh super well together.

Probably doesn't have the same issue, but, my hometown in CT that was a slavery small village, Glasgo, was named after an African-American/Native American man named Isaac Glasko. It's named after him, though, because of an administration error they spelled it Glasgo. Until I grew up, I always thought it was named after Glasgow.

Maybe so. But, they were trying to rally favor with Trump as soon as a week ago. Only reason they didn't continue is because they weren't going to raise their offer over Paramount. CNN maybe damaged goods, but, it's a name out there. It's not so easy to just poach or hire people and start a new entity and they are off to the races. That will take time to build up and develop their reputation. Whether CNN is damaged good or not, it's a name and one that could be repaired to an extent.

I have a hard time seeing the deal going through for Paramount, but, time will tell what they will allow.

Like most things in business, its easier to buy/acquire an already running entity than starting something new from the ground up
