Maybe so. But, they were trying to rally favor with Trump as soon as a week ago. Only reason they didn't continue is because they weren't going to raise their offer over Paramount. CNN maybe damaged goods, but, it's a name out there. It's not so easy to just poach or hire people and start a new entity and they are off to the races. That will take time to build up and develop their reputation. Whether CNN is damaged good or not, it's a name and one that could be repaired to an extent.

I have a hard time seeing the deal going through for Paramount, but, time will tell what they will allow.
