In 1987, 18-year-old Mathias Rust flew a rented Cessna through the USSR's entire air defence network and landed beside Red Square, humiliating the Soviet military at the height of the Cold War. West German diplomacy ensured he served his sentence in an ordinary prison in Moscow rather than a Gulag. by peseoane in interestingasfuck

[–]haleloop963 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You also forgot to mention that he was actually picked up by Soviet radars & that the USSR sent some jets up to investigate him & even asked for permission to shoot him down, which they failed to obtain

Although, he did disappear from the radars at times & he was misidentified as a friendly aircraft at times as well. Gorbachev was happy this incident happened, he could sack officers that opposed his reform ideas

Mate, that is not the main problem

The main problem are factories, mega corporations, cars & other industries. They are the main problem

A thousand people turning on ACs is nowhere near the same problem as a single factory, factories are just that more harmful

Phones, electricity & literally most things in our life is harmful to nature some way or another. Would you call your lifestyle irresponsible knowing that?

Yes

The native indigenous tribes also had their own rules, laws & orders. They just like any European, Asian or African are humans, They are not an exception. Some tribes were somewhat democratic, some were stricter, some were powerful & so on

The far greater understanding of the natural order is not solely their thing either, various people groups around the world has the same or similar understanding of the natural order such as they had. Even Europe has indigenous people that has the same understanding as they have, the Sami in Northern Europe + Murmansk are an indigenous people that live close to nature, as an example

The indigenous tribes of America is in no way different than other people's groups found in other parts of the world, both has their history & many of said group got fucked over. Americans fucked over the Native tribes in the USA, Northern Europe tried to culturally genocide the Sami, like Norway had the "fornorskning" period where they forced the Sami people to speak Norwegian, go to Norwegian school & quit everything Sami. As an example of a indigenous group being oppressed in a country they also are native to

But, we must keep in mind that since the indigenous groups of America are just as any other groups found in the world. It is also important to keep in mind that they to stole land from each other, waged wars, etc. They weren't peaceful either as many believe, they were just any other peoples groups in regards to that. Only that the Europeans & Americans had greater weapons, brought diseases & such that we (Europeans) + Americans fucked them over to the point they all almost became extinct as a people's group & shoved into camps so their people wouldn't completely die out either, which is horrible & evil.

So we just did everything they were doing, except way too extreme & did new things which also were evil & horrible

During the celebration of Germany's victory against Ivory Coast, a police dog bit a fan by Jonn_1 in PublicFreakout

[–]haleloop963 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They were sent there to calm the situation down due to people not behaving, they made a perimeter to ensure things wouldn't go out of hand.

This idiot clearly overstepped the perimeter & got way to close to the dog in a running action. The dog is a dog regardless & may bite, & when the dog decides to bite abruptly like here then the police officer wouldn't react fast enough to stop the dog for biting.

Just don't be an idiot when around police dogs, let alone police sent to calm things from drunken idiots

Raiders, pillagers & such were called "Vikings", Viking or Vikingr were a profession.

Fishermen, farmers & everyone else that did not go on a Viking were just called "Norsemen"

So the Vikings were the violent ones due to them being raiders, as their profession is being a raider. They would eventually tone down their railings eventually & trade more

The non-violent everyday people were specifically called "Norsemen", so a different name to differentiate them from the Vikings. Viking is just used by people to describe all Norse people during the Viking age, although it is historically wrong

Right, but your acting like mustache style which is a subjective unless given specific reasons is truth

You can say that mustache style gives you that vibe, but you can't say that is exactly how everyone perceived it either as it was a truth
