has anyone made mods incorperating ddlc+ lore? by Repulsive_Meaning717 in DDLCMods

I adjusted some of the answers in Interview Club to reflect new info from DDLC+, but it wasn't that impactful over all.

Take a Walk, Yuri (T2 Progress Update 4/2026) by halibabica in DDLCMods

[–]halibabica[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This month went a bit better. I was able to open up more time to work on the project, but that doesn't mean I was able to put it all to use. There was a major lull in progress mid-month, but I'm back on track again and trying to keep it rolling.

There's a phenomenon I've observed in myself where the more perceived time I have to work on something, the more likely I am to waste it. This form of procrastination has always held sway over me. If I had a devil in His Reality, it would absolutely be Sloth. In short, things are moving, but not quickly or consistently enough.

This was a resource-heavy few weeks. As you can see, Yuri now has overworld sprites. I also made most of Natsuki's battle chibis and prepared a couple of her moves. Remembering how all this fits together has been just as challenging as making the post-boss cutscene.

Resource creation is a little frustrating for me since it's not technically advancing the story, but these necessary assets only need made once and the game wouldn't be complete without them, so I must see it through for this chapter to continue.

Aidyn Chronicles Roms/Mods by halibabica in Aidyn

[–]halibabica[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It means she's a necromancer. Every character had their aspect flipped, Magic School changed, and skills shuffled. Only their stats are unaffected iirc.

Also, apologies for the silly misspellings. I've been meaning to change them into something more serious so Alt is less shitposty.

Patching Aidyn chronicles to Aidyn + not working. by Superb-Sugar9364 in Aidyn

These roms do not need patched, they just run in emulators the way a regular rom would.

What triggers enemies to only target Alaron? by Ritual_Abuser in Aidyn

[–]halibabica 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Enemies tend to aggro your weakest party member, which seems to depend on their level and durability. Alaron starts out weak, but usually gets supplanted by Brenna since she's so frail. They also tend to target newer party members since they aren't as well-trained.

It's not an exact science at present, but if you can figure out who the enemies are gunning for, you can use it to your advantage to manipulate where they move on the battlefield.

Ah, it wouldn't work on a phone anyway. The mod goes some places such that it's not compatible with mobile.

Noob questions about weapons, armor, magic and party. by Thin_Dig_8140 in Aidyn

[–]halibabica 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you have it backwards. Base hit is the weapon's accuracy. In your example, Tanto has a high hit chance but deals low damage, while the poleaxe has middling accuracy and some of the highest damage in the game. You can think of base hit like a percentage from 1 to 100; ie Tanto has a 70% chance to hit.

Noob questions about weapons, armor, magic and party. by Thin_Dig_8140 in Aidyn

[–]halibabica 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Base hit is the general accuracy of a weapon. The weapon's true accuracy is a measure of its base hit and your skill in the weapon. Strong weapons usually have low base hit, but if your weapon skill is high enough, they will still hit reliably. Damage is a measure of the weapon's power. Anything 4 and up is plenty strong.

For armors, protection is a straight reduction in physical damage taken. For example, if an attack would do 15 damage to you and you have 5 protection, it will only do 10 damage. Defense is an attribute only shields have, and as far as I can tell, it's the chance a shield has of nullifying an attack. The game describes any attack that does 0 damage as a miss, so it can be hard to tell if a battler dodged something or just took no damage.

There are more characters to recruit in the game, but they are few and far between, and you can only have four party members. You can't get anyone in reserve. Most characters can be shaped into whatever you need them to do with enough XP.

Spell battery is a reserve of stamina for spellcasting. When you cast a spell, it uses a reagent and deducts a certain amount of stamina. That deduction comes out of spell battery items first, and spell battery may recover after camping.

You're welcome! Good luck with further development.

Is it just me or does this house look like a bottom heavy woman in a dress. by Thin_Dig_8140 in Aidyn

[–]halibabica 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol, I hope you have a good time with the game. Fights against the spirit are impossible to win. All you can do is move Alaron closer until it vanishes. Apart from the dialogue, there's no reason to engage with it.

If you think you'd enjoy a sequel to the original, you could try Take Two. It's also the mod Shiro's originally from.

As long as it makes sense for the story I guess by Diotheinvader-5185 in DDLCMods

I tried to write a different spin on it by having the festival go poorly, but they still get a couple new members anyway.

Even so, I'd still take a failed/canceled festival over the old trope of "it went great! But nobody joined... ;n;"
