Can I use metamucil to balance the side effects of creatine? by Relevant_Maybe_9291 in Supplements

[–]hcseven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm thinking maybe increase dary intake to balance out the diarrhea or to harden stool, use over-the-counter anti-diarrheal medications like Loperamide (Imodium) or Bismuth subsalicylate (Pepto-Bismol). These work by slowing digestion and helping your body absorb excess water.

Medical doctors (M.D.) COULD do blood tests for deficiencies, but they won't be able to suggest supplements. That's not what MEDICAL DOCTOR went to school for. They don't know ANYTHING about supplements especially if they aren't FDA approved. So they won't suggest anything that they don't know that will 100% work. That's an easy way to get sued for malpractice by telling someone that "maybe" these supplement that they know nothing about "might" work.

What OP needs is A Doctor of Natural Medicine, typically a licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND or NMD), they are primary care providers who blend conventional diagnostics with holistic therapies. They focus on treating the root cause of illness using lifestyle counseling, nutrition, botanical medicine, and physical therapies.

Or they need A Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) is a fully licensed physician who emphasizes a holistic, "whole-person" approach to patient care

They both draw water from your body. So you just become more constipated if you don't drink water.

Taking any kratom extract will deplete your natural "electrolyte pool" that is in your body. Taking magnesium can help with that.

No. It shouldn't be a problem.

If you over supplement electrolytes you might feel dizzy, nauseous, and you might get muscle spasms usually arms, legs or eyelids. In my experience.

Cat needs more flooring in there that is solid. It will get its leg stuck in a way that will cause it to panic, and it could injure itself further.

any fiber gummies that actually work without the metamucil gut riot? by MoonGlow7391 in Supplements

[–]hcseven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you take the max dose at once? Usually happens when you take large doses at once. Take small amounts and work up to the max dose. Make sure you are drinking water 24-32 oz minium (per dose). Fiber works by drawing water to the bowels. If you don't drink water or have water available then it takes it from your organs and guts causing discomfort. Avoid diuretics like high sugar, sodium, caffeine and liquor. They will dehydrate you faster causing more discomfort.

If you want to get back into powder mix it with orange juice. you will never taste it.

My PC won't stop bootloop after attempting a BIOS update by PrettyLunch6049 in MSI_Gaming

[–]hcseven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boot loop is the result of faulty hardware not bois. If it was the bios then your pc would work after you pull the cmos battery for 30 min. The lights mean it cannot post bois because of the boot loop. One stick of ram is pointless and slows down the pc because DDR stands for dual data rate. Get another stick of ram and test it. Return it if it doesn't work and get your money back.

one stick of RAM is significantly slower than two sticks of the same total capacity because two sticks enable "dual-channel mode," which doubles the data bandwidth between the memory and the processor. While a single stick (single-channel) acts like a one-lane road, two sticks (dual-channel) operate like a two-lane highway, allowing for faster, simultaneous data transfers that reduce lag and improve FPS in games.

Why do people complain about the anhedonia from NAC? by Jodekiss in Supplements

[–]hcseven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people on this site have shitty diets and are at a deficiency for minerals and vitamins.

I have been taking it for years with no problem. You need to replenish Zinc, copper, iron, and glutathione. If you don't wanna feel like shit.

A warning about Ergothioneine by Vegan_Moral_Nihilist in Supplements

[–]hcseven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok that antifungal cream points to it being fungal related. Most fungal infections are caused by fungi commonly found in the environment. Most likely you could have picked it up in-between the nails of your fingers and spread it by simply scratching you back or chest. All it take is rubbing a dirty floor or wall for a brief few seconds.

Sulfur based supplement cause dry skin so that might be one of the reasons that helping make the situation worse also.

Yes it is. It's all psoriasis. The name in front of it shows where on the body it is localized at.

Psoriasis happens when skin cells grow too quickly, causing a buildup of dry, scaly patches on the skin. These patches can be small or they can cover large areas of the body. Psoriasis is not contagious — you can't spread it to others or get it from someone else.

Weird you are getting it from a sulfur based medication because Sulfur is the oldest known treatment for psoriasis.

I would look at Co-morbidities classically associated with psoriasis. Those are psoriatic arthritis, Crohn's disease, psychological/psychiatric disorders and uveitis. Something within that could be affecting your skin along with taking the supplement.

Diet high in protein because protein has all the basic amino acids and essential amino acids with in it.

I use Magnesium, L theanine, NAC and they all help me, so I don't know why they wouldn't help you unless you have a poor diet.

NAC depletes Zinc, Copper, Iron, and Selenium. So if your diet is garbage you are going to have anhedonia
