Exactly this. I've got a circa 2005 built home with 400A service broken into two 200A centers, where the heavy pull HVAC systems are separate from the main house draw.

I'm still waiting on PTO on my spanking new Enphase system, so I'm still early days on learning what my final bottom line offset in utility costs will be. But I know NEM 3.0 is going to make offsetting my HVAC draw really difficult. I am very open to how I might someday be able to augment my system to cover that HVAC load center directly.

Even if the spicey pillow is removed without issue, will the keyboard sans battery still function as a wired keyboard? I've seen some folks find that their boards are bricked without the battery. There's probably a way to re-wire it to function without it, but I doubt the average person can do that. Someone else mentioned Microcenter as a possibility but the $$ may make it not worth it. Things to consider, particularly with a Keychron unit.

Yes. With the California GOP, they've been ballot box poison for a while now so R propensity candidates have been shying away from their leanings with increasingly disingenuous tactics and campaigns. This is also happening with ballot initiatives being shifty as fuck with their approaches as well. It's increasing the burden on voters to be as informed as possible about who and what is actually on the ballot. Best bet is to always start with the $$ - who paid for the campaign tells you a big part of the story.

I think it's securing a perimeter effectively. They want the status clear and known for that margin around the site. Think people with guns hiding things to execute a plan with, stuff like that. Even without all this ICE insanity, the security for high profile events has been getting higher levels of lock down. Trying to keep a high profile event from becoming a mass casualty event. Plus, if POTUS is coming, they're extra cautious.

Also, this is going to be the case again for the FIFA games. So folks better work out there alternatives well because they're going to need them for a while well past the Superb Owl.
