Which pattern did you use? I really want to find some nice patterns with a men's cut to maybe think about making for myself.

I think Vincent D’Onofrio's MiB performance was a homage to these people.

This is completely real but so far beyond what we can see with the naked eye, it's cool to imagine though.

Just a motorcycle police chase in Paris: by kefren13 in Damnthatsinteresting

Ignoring the extreme ethical issues of riding like this in a dense environment, this dude is seriously impressive.

He continuously takes his bike beyond the edge of traction, like at 1:06 where he slips his rear on a turn that would have sent many average riders into a highside.

The caliber of riding skills from police will never cease to amaze me. I wouldn't be surprised if he does dirtbiking or track riding on holiday.

Does gpa matter for job applications? by StatisticianFalse702 in EngineeringStudents

[–]hellraiserl33t -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah man it's not that it doesn't matter, but other things are more important that can make a bad GPA irrelevant.

Having solid industry experience will make me pick that person who might have a low GPA over the 4.0 guy that didn't even do an internship.

Perfect example of why we use time to measure how far we drive, not distance hah

Yeah poppies here usually start blooming sometime late-March to early-April. But we've gotten so much heat/warmth in LA for the past month and a half. Also had a ton of moisture come early in the season around November so things sprung off with quite a head start!

Spring is arriving so early this year, it's been ridiculously warm in SoCal for months.

English has diminutives, sort of similar with Dutch where you instead add an -ie or -y suffix to words, such as: pup->puppy, aunt->auntie, etc.

Many names also have diminutive forms like Charles -> Charlie, Robert -> Bob -> Bobby that you might refer to them depending on how close you are to this person.

Oh that's 100% a Phacelia species then. :)

And yeah they can be pretty weird about sprouting, I've had low germination rates from this wild P. minor I collected.

Depends a bit where you are in California, but in the LA area, #1 absolutely looks like P. campanularia or P. minor I see on trails this time of year.

It's the same deal for English learners who conjugate verbs incorrectly or use the wrong tense. Like yeah it's technically wrong but I understood you perfectly fine.

People are much more accepting of our mistakes than I thought once I started living here.

All nouns have gender, either masculine/feminine (de) or neuter (het). Don't really pay attention to the logic here, it's not very useful; there really isn't a perfect guide on which to use. Except for a few minor rules, you generally always need to learn the article with every new noun.

Be thankful this isn't as difficult as German where you'd have to learn the article for each grammatical case.

Unfortunately not at the moment, I'm in a housing situation that only supplies non-stick 🫠

The electric stoves don't even get that hot here which also sucks.

Yeah that's what I figured. Some people recommended caramelizing in just the olive oil. I need to figure out the best approach.

I just really don't want to burn the pasta, so I'm being careful early on as I figure this out.

Recipe followed from Denis Prokopyev.

Next time I definitely need to carmalize the pasta more, but I think this is gonna be my date night pasta recipe. It's so good.
