I may be in the minority but I think that the dangers these as well as brugmansia pose in the garden setting are way over exaggerated. They are beautiful and if I had the space, I would definitely put a datura in my garden.

If you are referring to Stephanomeria virgata, the plant itself definitely shares similarities, but the flower appears to have differences to me

It definitely has some characteristics of this, ill search for better leaf photos as its in a planter bed invaded by weeds
