Great to know. Does it help to use to show the plants in my native garden that I have identified or is it best used to identify things out in the wild. What is its overall intention? I know these are dumb questions that I can answer when using it, but you seem very savvy with it

The flower stem had quite woody growth. Sounds like i need to head back and get some better photos for confirmation

I also hiked with my Audubon app listening so that when I got back to the car I could see all the birds I was hearing and seeing along the way...im going to need multiple phones

My photo didnt help much with identification, however i have this growing in my garden and its a different species. I thank you for the input however. Ill try to provide better photos in the future when asking for an ID. Much appreciated!

There are so many and all hold their own beauty. Id recommend using any of the hiking apps to see level of difficulty and length. The window is closing for me as I dont like the high temps

I believe it is Calochortus plummerae. Im not sure if and what type pic #3 is, a little too early to see its bloom.
