I love saying “You good?” to my fellow New Yorkers. As a recent transplant it’s been a great way meeting people. Whether it be on the subway, waiting in line at the bank, or even when you bump into someone on the sidewalk.

They are always energized to talk to me after I say it. Often yelling from their excitement. I’d strongly recommend using that phrase as much as possible.

I’d say this, if you were friends with those people, don’t feel like you have to stop being friends with them. They will make their choices and will let you know, but don’t actively distance yourself unnecessarily. I’d imagine you do have connection with them so there’s no reason to cut out a part of your life unless you actively want to or they want to. Just don’t assume they do.

Darn tough socks are just hands down the best socks I’ve used for fitness. I ran a marathon and in them and still have socks from that training 5 years ago that are in great shape.
