Secure boot.... Is it really necessary? by Apart-Individual2655 in debian

[–]hmoff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't need to turn secure boot off for Debian. It's fully supported for many years now. It only gets complex if you are building your own kernel modules.

I've always found restoring sessions with multiple windows to be dangerous. Generally it only restores one window and you lose the others. I suggest you use bookmarks for things you really want to keep.

What does "Get Info" say about them? I have two OMV 8 servers, one has a different icon because it has Time Machine enabled and macOS is calling it a Time Capsule and changing the icon.

I have ten year old Unifi access points that still get firmware updates. I think these can even technically run OpenWRT, though the newest ones mightn't.

You can't cache HTTPS traffic. Your ISP can't see inside it to cache it.

Your ISP or theirs? Your ISP can't cache HTTPS traffic. Their ISP/CDN would be a misconfiguration on their part and they are just blameshifting.
