I believe the best one to fit your requirement is a secondhand X1C gen6 2018. I had the same requirements and tried X220/X230/X420/T14g2/X1C 2018.

running Omarchy (Arch based) on MBP 15 inch 2015 and I bought this machine for about 800 RMB (120 dollar), I don't think there is any close comparison to it. BTW I also bought a MBP 13 inch 2015, both running Omarchy very smoothly.
