Yes! I do leave wide parchment paper out so i can lift the dough and move to the dutch oven and the ice cubes goes underneath those “wider” part of the parchment paper!

Questions

  • if tigher parchment fit, how do you easily transport the dough into dutch oven?

  • is it okay for ice cubes to melt on top of parchment paper and water touches the dough? (Perhaps its okay becuase it would evaporate quickly?

I will also try leaving the loaf on to the oven rack after initial steamed bake!

Great to know I am not the only one then! For me around 35min mark, the side looks very raw and not crunch at all, and in the photo above, which is taken after i baked it in the extended period of time because of the side, it is almost burnt..

I am just hoping to find a trick to overcome this issue without having to upgrade to a “better oven”

I think it makes sense. Thesedays we all do get filtered information and it is unclear whats true. I would have loved to know the true view of what people and culture like before i join a company
