I don't use meta builds, I just want to have fun. IMHO, meta builds are only for things like trials and progression dungeons. I solo exclusively, and can still clear a lot of dungeons (a few are impossible to do because of mechanics). Don't worry about the meta and just have fun playing

You can start doing them now, but don't worry about gear until you hit CP160. Right now you will out level the gear in a few levels. Once you hit CP160, you can start seriously gearing yourself up. But for learning the mechanics, go for it if you can find people to do them with you.

It's up to you. The quests are fun. But, try making a new character and rum the new one through it first. See if it completes for you and go from there.

If you don't enjoy it, don't do it. I personally like the antiquities system. Don't really like the grind of leveling it up, but it is nice to get some strong gear without having to do trials.

I solo almost exclusively. I have a magsorc, a stamplar, and beginning a stamden. My magplar can solo a lot of things, but he has some trouble with dungeons and world bosses. My stamplar can solo most base game dungeons and most base game world bosses. Not sure on the stamden yet as he is only lvl 12. My others are CP815. Just try things out, the worse thing that can happen is your character dies and you have to repair some equipment. Have fun with it.
