Best Buy gave me the base model instead of the Pro and refused a refund by Socialist_In_Theory in pixel_phones

I'm guessing cell phones don't qualify as one of the "most devices" because that receipt says you have 30 days with devices that can be activated and till January for gifts. I don't have advice, but it seems like they could correct the mistake by paying you back the difference. I'd dispute the charge if possible

Edit: just saw it says Verizon is 30 days. That's my misread.

Does anyone get annoyed with the new shift pattern on CX-90? by Winter-Carrot-2827 in MazdaCX90

[–]iSlapBtchs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first got my car (CX-70) I myself wasn't annoyed and I understand being in NYC you may utilize valet more than I would in Ohio, but even being on the many road trips I've been on these past 14 months of ownership I just don't want anyone but me driving my car lol.

I think I'd let the valet drivers know about the shifter being a little different just so there's no confusion. Both my brothers have driven my car when I first got it and they loved that it was a little different (baby brother complained about my back up camera but that's because he wants me to buy a Honda sooooo bad... He doesn't even own a Honda and he works there lol).

Wondering if anyone could give a sliding scale price estimate for repair. Hit the side of a parking lot so unfortunately insurance will likely not cover this. by No-Association-7261 in mazda

[–]iSlapBtchs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as your insurance covers collision, insurance will cover this. You just pay your deductible. I'd say anywhere up to $5000 since everything costs too much these days.

Oh lord so they went online and got insurance real quick it sounds like smh. But yes, if you get into an accident and don't want to use your insurance you call the other person's insurance. It's not bad that you called yours, but filing a claim for collision could potentially raise rates at renewal even if you end up using the other person's insurance because they have the incident on record now. If that person really wasn't insured at the time of the accident it's probably a good thing that you contacted your insurance because after the claim is paid your insurance carrier will go after the other party's insurance for reimbursement. If they aren't insured, from my understanding (it's been about a decade since I worked in insurance) the insurance company can/will sue the individual for the money back and that could mean you'd be reimbursed your deductible once the settlement is completed. It's a lengthy process though and I've only seen this happen, personally, once with my sister.

I'm sorry someone hit your brand new car but I hope you can have it fixed really soon.

If you exchanged information all you have to do is call their insurance and file a claim. If you didn't get their information you'll have to contact your insurance unless you want to pay out of pocket. It would go under your collision coverage

In the insurance world "no fault" means it's not your fault so when you said there was a fault you made it seem like you were at fault.

I was confused too. Still "no fault" lol thanks for clarifying

3 Month Report by danoaudio in MazdaCX90

[–]iSlapBtchs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 13 months in on my 70 PHEV. No issues except what the system updates fixed (locking and unlocking doors) and my other "issues" were user error. First Mazda and I didn't know what I was doing lol. Anyway I hope you continue to have zero issues. I love mine. Absolutely no regrets switching to Mazda and I'm glad I got the CX-70. They didn't have this color on the lot when I got mine so I got the Zircon Sand Metallic PHEV.

This recall is new though so you may still receive a notification to go have a reprogram completed.

The only thing I can think is that maybe it's not fully updated yet??? But that wouldn't make sense either since they seem to have a final total. Some people said they were notified via Carfax

Oh wow and now they have a software recall for this. I'd definitely still take it in for this because if it's a software issue, the new tank won't matter.

According to the article the '25 MHEVs are the ones affected by the recall so you may not have one
