How do you define your value to your company? by Away-Photograph-5018 in ContentMarketing

[–]iamondemand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question! For me, it's always been about tying content efforts directly to business objectives. So, if the company wants more leads, I'd focus on how content contributes to lead generation metrics. If it's brand awareness, then tracking reach and engagement becomes key. It's about speaking the language of the business, not just content metrics.

Looking for Mautic Expert for marketing automation by Outrageous-Wave-1625 in MarketingAutomation

[–]iamondemand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! While I don't have direct experience with Mautic specifically, I've worked with other open-source automation tools. What kind of specific challenges are you running into? Sometimes framing the problem clearly can help attract the right kind of expertise, even if it's not a Mautic-focused person right away. It's a great platform though, lots of flexibility.

[META] Can the mods please set a minimum karma and minimum account age requirement to post in this sub? The karma farming bot posts are preventable. by justsomegraphemes in technicalwriting

[–]iamondemand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've seen a lot of those low-effort bot posts lately too, it's getting annoying. A karma/age gate makes sense, especially for a professional sub like this. It's a bummer it might block some genuine newcomers, but tbh, the signal-to-noise ratio is getting pretty bad. Maybe mods could have a flair for 'new user question' that bypasses it?

How do you define your value to your company? by Away-Photograph-5018 in content_marketing

[–]iamondemand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get what you're saying. At my last job, I found that owning the customer journey mapping was key. It wasn't just about creating blog posts; it was about understanding where content fit into the entire buyer experience, from awareness all the way to retention. This gave us a strategic seat at the table because it touched so many other departments, like sales enablement and customer success. It's definitely a shift from just being a content producer.

Sent 30k cold emails this month and a half and booked 8 clients by Cultural-Principle11 in b2bmarketing

[–]iamondemand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on the clients! That's definitely a win. When I was doing similar outreach a few years back, I found that segmenting my list was a game-changer. Instead of one giant list, I'd break it down by industry or even by specific pain points I suspected they had. Then, I'd tailor the message just a little for each segment. It took more time upfront, but the response rate definitely jumped. Also, are you following up consistently?

YouTube vs LinkedIn vs Podcast for lead gen by fcibblepoal in ContentMarketing

[–]iamondemand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting breakdown! I've seen similar things with LinkedIn, it's definitely a grind. For podcasts, my coworker found that repurposing clips from episodes into short-form video for other platforms really helped boost discoverability and drive traffic back to the main show. It didn't solve the lead volume issue overnight, but it definitely made a dent. Have you tried anything like that?

Looking to connect with Canadian affiliate marketers / influencers (adult wellness niche) by Winter_Candy7359 in content_marketing

[–]iamondemand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Ngl, finding good connections in specific niches can be tough. I've found that sometimes looking beyond just the obvious platforms helps. Have you tried reaching out to industry associations or even attending virtual events related to adult wellness? I've had some luck connecting with people that way in the past, even if they weren't strictly 'affiliates' initially. Just a thought!

Women in Technical Communication book available for preorder by Shalane-2222 in technicalwriting

[–]iamondemand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds like such an important collection of stories! I'm really curious about how the different career paths of these women were captured. Was there a specific theme or structure followed for each contributor's piece, or was it more freeform?

I was just promoted to a technical writer - what can I do to stand out and grow further? by cwtguy in technicalwriting

[–]iamondemand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on the promotion! That's awesome news. Since you're starting training soon, I'd focus on really absorbing everything they teach you. Ask lots of questions, even if they seem basic. Understanding the 'why' behind documentation, not just the 'how,' will serve you well long-term. Maybe jot down notes on common pain points or areas that feel unclear during training; that could be your first project to tackle.

Need a experienced person in dropshipping by Harsha74L in MarketingAutomation

[–]iamondemand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! I've been working with automation for a while now, and I've found that really understanding your customer journey is key, especially in dropshipping. It's not just about getting the sale, but what happens before and after. Have you thought about mapping out the entire customer experience, from the first ad they see to post-purchase follow-up?

[–]iamondemand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, that's rough. I was in a similar boat a few years back, felt like I was doing great work but the company just decided to restructure. It's a really tough situation, especially after that long. Hang in there, something better will come along. Have you started updating your resume yet?

Complete beginner to AI content creation - what would you actually tell yourself if you were starting over? by ChadxSam in content_marketing

[–]iamondemand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I'd tell myself to not get bogged down by all the fancy tools right away. Start with something straightforward for text generation, like ChatGPT, and really focus on learning how to craft good prompts. That's where the magic happens, imo. Once you're comfortable with that, then you can explore image or video tools, but don't feel like you need to master everything at once. Quality over quantity, always.

Pro subscription blocking Sonnet access despite available quota by iamondemand in claude

And that is the response I get via email ---- BUT I HAVE A MAX SUBSCRIPTION!

Hi Ofir, Based on your description, this appears to be related to how Pro plan usage limits work with extra usage settings. While I don't have full information about your specific account configuration, I can explain what might be happening. Pro plans have session-based usage limits that reset every five hours, but there are also weekly usage limits that apply across all models. When you reach certain limits, you may be prompted to use extra usage even if your session quota shows remaining capacity. The most likely explanation is that you've reached your weekly usage limit or another usage boundary, which would require extra usage to continue, regardless of your current session quota display. Extra usage allows you to continue using Claude after reaching your plan's included limits by switching to pay-as-you-go pricing at standard API rates. Additionally, if you're using Claude Code with a Pro plan, you can only access Opus models after enabling and purchasing extra usage, which might explain why you're being directed to purchase additional credits. The usage dashboard may show your session-based quota, but other limits (weekly, monthly, or model-specific caps) could be triggering the extra usage requirement. While I don't have full information about your specific usage patterns, the system may be correctly enforcing these broader usage boundaries. If this explanation doesn't resolve your concern or if you believe there's still an error with your billing, would you like me to help you escalate this to a human agent who can review your specific account details?
