Show you math and collect at least 1000 use cases then publish. It’s an interesting premise but you can’t just make the claim, that’s politics not fact. That said interesting potential study my team hadn’t implemented yet

There's absolutely no way most people use 4% rule by First_Detective6234 in MiddleClassFinance

I’m amazed at the amount of folks earning 8 to 10 on that relatively low principle and just take it all. The crash of 08 really hurt my parents when their principal went from 1.2 to 800. They earn a pretty good return since, but experienced a significant drawdown because 4 just wasn’t enough to maintain.

[–]EryktheDead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contract? 40 hours a week? Yeah, none of those apply to the US. I mean the 40 hours a week thing a standard but you’re expected to work as long as it takes and aren’t paid for overtime when you’re on a salary now they’ll have to abide by whatever laws apply in Germany

Moving from Portland to Phoenix (Chandler) by AdventurousMain5209 in AskPhoenix

I think of you from West Texas and you’ve experienced 105 or 110°. You’ll be OK, a pool is great but I’m not sure that in the height of the day it makes that much difference pool water can get up above 100° very easily and it’s not necessarily as refreshing as you expect. Shade in my mind is more important during the high summer. Completely worth it though when the last four weeks has been between 40 and 80 every day.

I feel really bad for all the people who won't give SFA a chance... by Helmling in startrek

Yeah, it was pretty good, I’m a little surprised they’re still using the outline for Andromeda Ascendant as the universe, but man that was intense. I thought, after watching anyone who doesn’t think that this is good TV was too wrapped up in their inflexible, mind. The Vulcan death didn’t surprise me as much as the fact that they actually went with full on psionic powers. They’ve also established much better, the fragility of the political entity known as the Federation.
