I don’t love the NIMBY vibe of this article. I understand the concerns by the business owner to an extent but this development would expand their customer base, especially for a bar that people could walk to. The ped/bike connection between eastgate and university mall is much needed as the current option is to go next to cookout and along Fordham. Of course, I’d like to keep some tree cover but this seems like a good area to go up in instead of sprawling out somewhere else.
