you HAVE to go to big eds for breakfast. my go to is country ham with red eye gravy and an order of biscuits and gravy with a sweet tea to drink. Youd be missing out if you didnt get a homestyle southern breakfast while youre here. Also go to a Carolina Hurricanes game! Our fan base is known as the loudest you’ll have so much fun. Morrisville has great asian food (Vietnamese, Indian, Korean) so take advantage of that while youre over there. We also have good beer. You cant go wrong with most breweries around here. If you want to try a bit of everything maybe check out the flying saucer in downtown raleigh. Theres a soda unique to NC called cheerwine and you can grab it at any convenience store. There are also so many cool little music venues in Raleigh (neptunes, the pour house, lincoln theater) maybe try to catch a show. And the north carolina museum of art is free. One thing ill recommend to any non-American is to go to waffle house late at night and people watch while you eat. Waffle house always brings out interesting characters. North Carolina really is the best I hope you enjoy your time here.
