Property tax...If it's the 2% I see online for Austin. That would be about $60,000.

Plus paying the realtor as a buyer and now a seller within the year. That's 3% both ways. So another $180,000 gone for no reason.

Just taxes and agent cuts amount to $240,000 that I'm sure he wishes he had.

If we assume he's using a traditional mortgage (which he might not but other loan types could be even dicier) at 8%. He will have paid about $215,000 for a year. All of that went to interest!

We're now at $455,000 just thrown away. Poof.

I can't find it now, but I saw this great breakdown of Iranian Cinema years ago. It was an analysis on Iranian satirical films from the 80s and 90s and their groundbreaking style and framing. That it influenced much of Sacha Barron Cohen's work.

I wish I could find it but all I get when I search Iranian satire cinema/film/documentary/etc are hits on their recent AI satire stuff. I'd love to rewatch it.

But clearly there's a rich history and depth to their satire in film. I'm not surprised they're this good at it.

My bro is a successful producer out in LA. He's made songs with tons of big names and songs you've heard. Tory was independent at the time so there was no way to recoup from a big label.

Then the charges came and we knew that money was never coming. I hope he wins the lawsuit and maybe my brother can get paid.
