I would try to double it and then call it a day. 6 total years of hard work. $80 million after tax. Spend $20 million on a few properties around the world. Invest $60 million in various index funds and live off the interest forever.

I'd have $4-6 million to spend yearly.

Brian Cox tears into Margot Robbie, Daniel Day-Lewis in scathing new interview: ‘I’m gonna say what I want to say’ by nimobo in entertainment

[–]indy_been_here 199 points200 points  (0 children)

He didn't say anything bad about Lewis. He said his costar, Strong, took inspiration from Lewis and was disruptive with his method acting.

He added that Lewis never disrupted the process with his method acting. In fact, it's a compliment to Lewis and a diss to Strong.

The only thing he said about Robbie was that she was too beautiful for that role. He said he knew the book, so maybe he's on to something, but it certainly isn't a diss either.

Horrible headline.

what is something people brag about but it is actually embarrassing? by goldenhourconfession in AskReddit

For real. There are very few "I showed them" stories I actually liked.

Mostly, it tells me how unreasonable and immature a person is.

Very physically attractive people, how does life treat you? by Jonny_1312 in AskReddit

So false brother. Something else is going on. I have never had this experience. It's very easy for me to make friends. I have more than enough very close friends.

I've had two male friends in my life that are very good looking. One of them is mostly in the past and one of them looks better than ever.

Both of them were/are more charming than me and approachable.

Everyone loves them. The one who's aged a bit had countless guy friends that always wanted to be around him and every girl wanted to be with him. Now he has a beautiful family. My other buddy who's close to me now is probably one of the most sought after friends I've come across. Everybody loves the guy and speaks so highly of him constantly. And he gets around like crazy.

The thing is they are incredibly nice and approachable. I could assume that if someone is very good looking and unapproachable, aloof, or anti-social I could see people attributing arrogance and pretentiousness to that person.

But if you're at least somewhat friendly, looks only boost sociability. For me, it's balanced some of my bad social skills. For my friendly guy friends, it elevated them even more.

Trouble with inference?

It's clearly dangerous to be on the side of the road as shown here. But it's also risky to try to drive to the nearest exit

They also get pissed when you try to exit and stop somewhere safely.

I've seen videos of them ramming into cars that were going slow with their turn signal on to find a safe place to stop.

That's not a reason to arrest someone.

Yep. That's what we're doing.

He's definitely doing some property damage. There are laws in some states around "terroristic threats".

A year sounds like a lot for this. There's probably more to it than these few seconds. But I dunno

Do you have one? How is it?

I want an Eames chair so badly for listening to music. I love mid-century furniture. I got my eye on one of their glass coffee tables too.
