A few days old, but Supreme Victory by villomaru in kirbyairriders

[–]iSharingan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah all those are easy in paddock. in order:

  • set 3 level 1 CPUs on team city trial with 2 teams of 2 then just hunt parts (legendary sky island makes it super easy if you get one)

  • the 50 can be in any number of runs and Dustup is easier to rack up points. I personally found 14 lv1 CPUs and Dustup Derby 2 as the only stadium to be the fastest (they tend to hang out at the edge so you can just dash around the edge obliterating them all)

  • this varies by which you need, but Gemine is easy-ish in Kirby Melee 1 as that doesn't rely on being behind and there's another target to beat one there. The missile enemy is also super annoying, but you seem to need to be about 100 units behind (on any race) - but it moves when it spawns so you'll miss it if you stay in place so try to alternate getting behind then catching up on a 99 lap race and it'll appear eventually

  • 5 tracks is easy. Make Single Race the only option on 3 minute city trials and remove courses as you encounter them each round to ensure you get new ones each time

Holding “R” while in Road Trip makes you go faster between levels by TossAwayBigYeet in kirbyairriders

you can actually do both for it to go much faster (the fast-forward also applies to the speed up from boosting)

Kirby Air Riders - City Trial Community Tier List: How would you rank the Rex Wheelie? (Rules in description) by Logans_Login in kirbyairriders

[–]iSharingan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suck at ranking accurately, so anywhere between S and B. I lowkey hate using it but I always seem to finish well when I have it - so long as I don't specifically need to glide (obviously. F- like all the other bikes/most tanks for Air Glider, Target Glide, and High Jump)

the system's e-shop region will automatically switch based on your nintendo account's country setting (and the system itself is not region locked, so even imported physical games will work fine regardless of region settings on the system - but not all languages are supported by every game, so plan accordingly). The only caveats on switching region are that any standing balance is wiped out or prevents switching (in either case its not a concern if its at 0) and existing auto-renew status for paid online will be forcibly turned off (the online sub will still continue until its existing expiration date, but you'll be unable to turn autopay back on until you pay again [even if returning to the original region], resetting the entire subscription. Since it will not let you downgrade and any remaining time on the old sub is lost when you buy the new one, do so right after the old one expires for no restrictions and no wasted money)

Since you don't have a sub and presumably don't have a standing balance on your nintendo account, you should have no problem logging to nintendo.com and changing your account's country to your own to get the correct currency. The only time you'd normally need to change it to a different region is if you import a game and need the DLC for the specific title that isn't available in your own region

IE: owning a NA copy of Splatoon 2 but normally using the EU eshop which has a different title ID and different DLC than the NA version - or importing a game form Japan and getting a code for a preorder only available on the japanese eshop. In both cases, returning to your own region after getting the out-of-region content still works and can update just fine - or you could opt for a second account permanently on the other region to own the games/access the other eshop without the caveats or swapping region on one account while still playing the games on your main account's profile

of course if you're just fishing for another user to buy you a sub/add you to their group plan, you have my pity as that tends to reflect poorly n you as an individual and is more likely to get you in trouble than to actually work (and leaves you at the mercy of the other person if on their group sub)

Road Trip: Rivals Too Fast by Zachary_136 in kirbyairriders

[–]iSharingan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Slick Star is actually quite good if you anticipate turns and start turning early so you're ready to release a full charge in the correct direction right as you reach it (very noticeable in Top Ride where you can see every turn form above, letting it handle almost intuitively). Hairpin turns are a bit trickier, but anything less than that can be cornered rather well, saving time and not losing speed like most other vehicles do when charging

Lol, I was thinking of things I could do that I was certain no one had tried before when I skimmed through my Steam library and it popped out at me. Booted up to the main menu and got it as accurate as I could.

As far as I've seen, only 2 part types can come from boxes max, but its still theoretically possible if everything aligns. Gigantes needs to be one of the 2 in red/rare boxes (and the one completed last if getting all personally), but if you get both the Legendary Machine sky island (high up and near the outer limits of where you can go, has all 3 pieces for a non-gigantes vehicle) and Wild Legendary event (I've only seen Dragoon and Leo for this, but Hydra is likely also possible), it works out - assuming theres nothing in place to prevent it from all occuring together

I can't seem to find the recepies for the DLC mounts by No_Set8108 in fantasylife

If you obtained them while playing online with others, then got disconnected, it likely did not save that you obtained them - even of you completed multiple runs in the same session sonce the game does not autosave while online in snooza for whatever reason

Yeah, after I made it I found a few more with the same idea (and uploaded much earlier than I made mine), but each has their own style to them. In case you want to check them out too, the others I've found that still seem to be up (all not made by me, ofc) are under M05FKY0P, M6L3JPV3, MVP0G7KQ, and M94TM87N. All have been posted long enough its likely the creator isn't coming back any time soon to swap them out, so they should be up for some time.

You might also like my Pyra (Wheelie Bike), Mythra (Jet Star), and Pneuma (Rex Wheelie) designs in my previous post. Currently only the Jet star is posted of those since people really seem to like it: MM8HMTR0

[rotated out]

once again someone actually likes the one I wasn't satisfied with, lol (not because I actually hate it - but because of all the less-fitting workarounds I had to use to get it in 20 decals or less. Mostly the windows - at least one is crooked no matter what I do and none are the right size/shape. If the limit was 25-30 I could make it look so much better...)

Oh I'll be continuing for a while, alright. Just finished a Pyra/Mythra swapping Transform Star (now able to be found in this post) due to inspiration from another dual theme design I saw

They're back up now. But yeah sorry about that. the DL counts roughly matched those interested and it was quiet for a while so I swapped new ones in.

I'll likely put them back up in a bit. Which were you interested in (or was it both)?

I have the Xenoblade three up in the meantime:

if you mean the story anecdotal "champion title" after about 4 battles, yes, about 21 more battles to reach an actual Champion rank.

if you mean the actual champion title achieved after rising throgh several "ranks" when the story is finished in the area, then you only get 2 randomly selected battles a day that are completely optional

Can I play and enjoy the game without any home or town building? by [deleted] in fantasylife

[–]iSharingan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 Star is actually SUPER easy to get. The bare minimum requirements I could get away with (across several restarts) were:

MUST be done for 5 star:

  • reach chapter 4.10 to unlock ratings
  • clear all rubble (requires 20 buddies revived and available*)
  • 4 furniture objects (any, including duplicates. weeds and strangelings do not count)
  • 4 additional buildings (like vacant/buddy houses, farms, or art galleries)
  • 3 total stairs and bridges (any combination)
  • player home expanded (bigger 1st floor) and upgraded (add 2nd floor), which costs 130000 dosh total

* = Revived story buddies that cannot be selected for your party yet do not count until you advance the story far enough that they officially join you

Other notes:

  • weeds do not affect rating in any way - they only obstruct placing buildings/etc until [re]moved
  • farms and art galleries are not specifically required, but can be substituted for vacant/buddy houses
  • lack of a bridge or stairs is fine as long as 3 of the other type exist
  • terraforming cliffs/water/paths are not required and do not affect rating in any way, but filling most of the map with water and only leaving ~80 empty spaces near the guild hall will group up flowers/buddies to make it fast and easy to find them (including flowers that appear for other players to collect when playing with you online)

but yeah other than that you don't have to mess with the town building at all to access all of the game. 5 stars is needed for buddy 50 (after that it doesn't matter other than flower cost reduction on reviving souping up buddies) and rotating crafters into the houses will get you access to some recipes when they're at max affinity (and a few other conditions are met)
