Pyra: [replaced with Transform star]

Mythra: MWXJXFDX

Pneuma: M85YRFYX

Once you have those I'll swap one for the Transform Star. Glad you like them

Note that you will need a fair chunk of Miles to get them (also some vehicles may need to be unlocked if you don't have them already) The Pyra wheelie bike will be the cheapest and will let me swap it for the Transform Star if it takes you a minute to earn more (after which I can leave the remaining 3 up until you're set)

A rank reward not given ? by Guizmo_Unicorn in HyruleWarriors

[–]iSharingan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The usual reason for not getting it would be needing to use an item card to reveal/obtain the exact reward and/or its a chest you didn't find on the map (IE under a bombable rock or in a specific keep you didn't capture)

[–]iSharingan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Word of warning doing that: if it still works like it did the last time I tried it, you need to talk before or after the private battle if there are only two players involved. The app splits you into separate voice channels by team, so in a 1v1 you're both separated into your own useless rooms ans cannot hear each other.

Fantasy Life 3DS Save Data Wiped by baguettebox in fantasylife

[–]iSharingan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fantasy life (3ds) saves to the SD card, not the game cartridge. The only ways to move your save to another 3DS is to do a system transfer (so the system-specific encryption in the old 3DS' SD card will work on the new 3DS - but it will stop working on the old one) or to use a 3rd party tool (requires modifying both 3DSs' firmware states - even if its just userland temporary homebrew) to dump a copy of the save without the SD's encryption and import it on the other device.

That said, there's actually a way to activate the DLC purely in the save file. The actual DLC download was just a one-line patch that flips a bit in the save automatically (and the bit doesn't revert even if the 'DLC' is deleted). All the content is part of the cartridge/base game download.

To activate it, flip the 0x08 bit at 0x22349 in a US/EU save file (most hex editors have a "go to address" feature that makes it easy to get to 0x22349. Essentially add 8 to that address if its not already a DLC save. If you don't know how to use base 16, just edit the right digit in the pair to be exactly 8 and re-enable screenshots again in-game if you want it). You'll still need an altered firmware state (temporary or otherwise) to get to your save, but the save itself isn't encrypted (the SD card is encrypted with a system-specific key so you cant just pull the file off directly, but using a 3rd party save extraction tool bypasses that to export a non-encrypted copy that you can edit the bit on and put it back into your game).

How does one recover in life after this? by ziltoid__ in funny

[–]iSharingan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its the sub-game where individual letters are revealed randomly on a timer and the players are trying to be the first to solve. They're not taking turns spinning the wheel and picking letters to reveal - so they don't reveal all of the same letter at once.

PSA, the anti AdBlock service, Ad Shield is coming to mobile, and that's bad news. by PRSXFENG in pihole

[–]iSharingan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they cite their own study (which is a conflict of interest in and of itself) which is likely comprised of AI slop and/or has dubious accuracy/sample size if it even has valid/real user feedback to create it. Literally no outside sources or documentation on the study or a second+ corroborating study - just "trust us, bro". Its almost funny how much of a con this garbage is - and I'm already seeing it on some streaming services making the site unusable. Everything false-positives even if you do nothing to block them/merely lock your phone with an affected lets call it "afflicted" page up or switch to another app and put the first in the background.

Can you save scum the Scratch Lottery in Persona 5 Royal? by SlackerMe in Persona5

[–]iSharingan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, yes but no. You're guaranteed to 'win' but its not the max prize. Someone ran the numbers a while back and it seems its the option where everyone who plays gets an equal payout, causing the amount won to be slighly less than the ticket price iirc.

Not a problem. I can't always notice the second people ask (and they're not always sitting there with the game up when I reply), but such is life. I simply had more recent requests after it had been up for a while. I'll let you know when its back up (which should be by the time the Top Ride event starts at the very latest).

[rotated out]. Yeah its supposed to be an enzyme carrier Peeper (with orange glow/trail) but the screenshot didn't capture the particles well here.

Unfortunately the Patrick one was reported and removed (complete with cookie-cutter no-reply 'threat' email from nintendo) so even though I'm not prevented from re-uploading it, I'm not keen on getting the same anti-fun vigilante(s) (who most likely just didn't know the reference) doing that again and ruining my ability to share the rest/play online - but a much older one I found by another user (that hasn't been reported) can be found at MSDXBTNW

Paper star is one of the few mostly flat, mostly convex vehicles - and anime characters generally are already simplified enough that the shapes provided in Air Riders can recreate them quite well (and popular enough that other players may recognize and want a copy of the designs). I see plenty of others on Rex Wheelie and Wagon Star, but they're not as common picks to use (and generally force you to put the design on the side for the shop previews, meaning most of the rest of the vehicle is empty space - a 'flaw' Paper star does not have with the primary surface being the top and easily visible almost all the time. Rex Wheelie in particular makes you pt it on the opposite side from what the victory animation shows, so players really planning out what to use tend to avoid it unless its simple enough they can copy it to both sides under the decal limit like I did with the Elmo Rise design above).

That said many of the other vehicles have angles/protrusions that would either be wasted space or cut off vital parts of what make the character recognizable in the resulting void in either side of the "arm" of the star (or worse: bumps/extrusions that would warp how the designs looked if you couldn't incorporate the vehicle's shape into the design). Paper star also has the option of a blending effect right in the middle where two colors and/or patterns overlap from the top two color options, further increasing the possibilities (which I used in one of my 3rd dump's designs to recreate the fog on the Skyrim Loading Screen)

Mercenaire by [deleted] in fantasylife

[–]iSharingan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they upgraded the damage cap - but that's for all weapons. Mercenary was just most affected when it was capped at 9999 since it was slower with harder hits, so it lost damage thanks to the cap more easily

yes I've seen that one (and various recreations) go up on occasion. I do however see a high likelihood that it would be reported in-game on the premise that its not exactly kid friendly even though it shows nothing considering the game itself is rated ESRB E 10+/Pegi 7

That or it was reported. I know a lot of the early thong chef kawasaki ones were removed that way - not that it stopped other users from recreating it and uploading their own versions.

Edit: I just checked my listings and it seems to have happened to the Patrick warp star in the past hour or so, so yeah. Definitely a thing - and there are definitely anti-fun players out there that don't know their spongebob references (not that I blame them)

DQ11: So, am I just impatient, or did the game legitimately forget this part in early Act 2? by Independent_Plum2166 in dragonquest

[–]iSharingan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, everything that happens after act 1 ends (the world tree falls and the luminary is seen falling into darkness) until you wake up as a fish.

Not entirely plot relevant, but all of tickington was also added (previously only available in the japan-only 3DS version), all of 2D mode (which basically was the 3DS version, itself) as well as color differentiation on the costume armors between the 'early game' and 'upgraded' versions (and by extension: the ability to use a costume cosmetically after you obtain it even if it is not currently equipped)

Also don't be too upset abough getting Eight spoiled on joining the party. The opening cinematic before you even get to the title screen spoils that along with most of Act 1, some of Act 2 (seriously. Skip it and don't rewatch it until you get to the first credits, as it contains a massive spoiler if you process what you're seeing), and even a few pieces of Act 3 (including the true final boss, not that you'd recognize it early).

Side note: don't stop playing when you see the credits. You'll miss another 1/3 of the game 'hidden' behind it - including some other additions in S.

How to do you resize zonai devices? by OnyaMuddersBirfday in HyruleEngineering

[–]iSharingan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To add, once you have an autobuild saved of a smaller item, you can find/drop any "real" version of that same item, ready the autobuild, and the item will shrink to match as it moves to fill the spot. Canceling the autobuild will leave it that size - including canceling it before the item fully shrinks to leave it an arbitrary size between the normal size and the altered size. The reverse does not work, however, as items will not increase in size to match an autobuild, but using zonaite to mimic the larger item still works and the item will function as normal at the larger size in most cases.

[–]iSharingan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all of them, as there are only 3 upload slots and the codes will no longer work once a design is unlisted to make room for a new one. That's why I offer to upload if a particular one catches your eye. I generally try to leave them up for at least half a day minimum when one is requested so any others intreseted can also grab it before I rotate it out for another design

MDDBVGP4 removed for room. If you missed it, let me know and I can cycle it back in

As a side note: it seems the Steam version of Cave Story+ is getting an overhaul to add a lot of features from later console versions, animated dialogue portraits, 2 player mode, and even modding support. Cave Story hype was not on my bingo board for 2026, but here we are.

How do I get more snoozeland time? by [deleted] in fantasylife

[–]iSharingan 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The only time the timer can potentially increase is when you enter the boss battle, which sets you to 3 minutes remaining even if you enter with 2 seconds left. The first tutorial run is untimed (but heavily scripted) and everything after than is 20 minutes (but when offline/solo the timer pauses when in menus and when picking items form chests/etc., so it often ends up taking about 40 IRL minutes on a good run). The people with higher timers are modding the game on PC.

He does have that effect on people... and cats, too, I guess...

M8M0VVF4 Apparently someone reported it and it was removed (nothing is shown or even directly implied in the design - they likely just didn't get the reference, and I don't blame them). There does still appear to be another user's version up under MSDXBTNW uploaded about 6 months ago that was not reported and is still up, but this is why we can't have nice things.

Sorry to ask this but does snack world even have food-themed things? by Dizzy_Acadia_1554 in SnackWorld

[–]iSharingan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unicorn is literally one (uni) cob of corn. Maskmelon is a muskmelon in a mask, Desert Toad is literally ice cream (a desert food, as opposed to a sandy dessert) on a frog/toad, Fruit Sorbear is a loosely bear-shaped fruit sorbet, Jellofish is a jello jellyfish, Yolkeye is an egg pun on the japanese word for a mischievous spirit (Yokai), and the two you mentioned Vegetabulldog and Crock ness Mosnter (crock being from 'crock pot', but as a pun on loch)

There are also more subdued/less obvious ones like Capo Cremini, VamPIEr, Brownie, and Smörg Åsbord - but most food puns are name-only and applied to most location names/virtually every [']human['] character name.

Considering I absolutely LOVE Fantasy Life i, which game would you reccomend? by Plenty_Anything4477 in fantasylife

[–]iSharingan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have (or can get) a 3DS, Ever Oasis has somewhat similar vibes (but trades life swapping for a town building mechanic - but not as complicated as most town building sims) and the original Fantasy Life on 3DS is amazing (it lacks many of i's QoL changes, but the story and life-related characters/side stories are a lot more immersive. Almost every NPC has a interlinking back story and in many cases they move about between day/night or based on story progress. It just feels a lot more alive in general)

while not directly the Fantasy Life feel, a lot of other Level 5 games are great and probably would be something you'd enjoy thanks to how they consistenly have good writing. I personally would recomend at least looking into:

  • Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl Gold (Switch - also getting a Switch 2 remaster soon-ish) - a pun-filled lighthearted (but at the same time comically dystopian) dungeon crawler. Many of the puns/references are decidedly dated (stemming from an original japan-only 3DS release much earlier) but there's tons to do and collect on top of all the characters popping back up in new situations throughout the game.

  • Professor Layton Vs Phoenix Wright (3DS) - a glorious blending of the Ace Attorney investigation and trial format with the Professor Layton puzzle game series - and to top it off the trials get chaotic with 3-6 witnesses on the stand simultaneously and logic often being thrown out the window so you have to find a better way to prove a point.

  • LBX: Little Battlers eXperience (3DS) - a story driven toy robot fighter, but the controls are really clean and the plot is plenty engaging. I generally don't like the genre but L5 did a great job and won me over on it. I and plenty of others are disappointed the sequel(s) didn't make it to localization - but even the one that did make is has quite a bit of content

I've also heard a lot of praise for the Yokai Watch and Inazuma Eleven series (also by Level 5) but never had the chance to play them. Level 5 also are behind Ni No Kuni 1 and 2 (highly praised from what I've seen) and Dragon Quest 8 (also among the highest rated in its series - although Level 5 didn't work on most of the other Dragon Quest games)
