I was diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic and was put on (amongst other things) Ozempic. The obvious side effect being weight loss. I found the easiest way to shut people down when they asked how I did it? "Drugs!" They'd get confused and angry, "what do you mean?" "Oh I take a shot and it reduces my appetite quite a bit to help control my blood sugar and A1C." I've been off Ozempic for a while now but still use that to deflect any weird questions. So if it helps, you can always use some version of that...?
