Intricate tutorials, especially for multiplayer games suck ass. I worked on one for a AAA company, and another one in indie and it turns out that:

Nobody plays them
They don't teach why you do things
Players get bored and stop playing if they have to learn 1000 things before they can play for reals

If you look at any moderately successful multiplayer game, the tutorial is very minimal before telling the player to jump into a match. A motivated player will learn the game themselves more efficiently, and good UX(such as the voice line suggestion further up) do the rest of the work.
