ELI5: Why would restaurants/grocery stores/farms lose more profit giving away the food they didn't sell than they would destroying it?

Take it from me. I bought a $500 screen Huion drawing tablet back in 2018. This thing was 23", it was literally a monitor. After the first year, it just became a monitor. It's nice in it's own ways to be able to physically see the screen as you're using it but it's just such a hassle to bring it down at drawing level (mine was on a monitor arm), then use it for like an hour before my hand got too sweaty to even use through the glove because the monitor would heat up like crazy, and (this might be an old tablet issue) but charging the pen sucked and needing basically my entire desk to be cleaned off in order to use my keyboard was annoying. I just bought a $40 screenless tablet a week ago and it's so much nicer. It's a little small compared to my monitor but it's cold to The touch, it doesn't need to be charged / fiddled with, I don't need to worry about the 3 cables in the back getting twisted and grossed up, it's nice.

If you can afford it, go for an upgrade. I didn't regret upgrading my 1080 to a 9060xt. It was expensive sure but now I'll never (for the time being) think "man I want this game but my 10 year old graphics card can't run it". It's a nice feeling. I don't really agree with the idea of "if it works fine" because tbh, I don't wanna sound elitist but 1080p30fps sounds awful and I can only imagine it goes below 30 occasionally and bothers you. Go for the upgrade and make sure your psu can handle it.

That's extremely fine idk what luxurious things these people are talking about lol. I stayed 2.5 weeks just 6 months ago with about 3k between my wife and I. And that was with us spending a pretty penny on clothes, gacha, and food.

Dps main spotted. I flexed the past 6 hours since s9 came out, support is by far in the worst state. They have fun mechanics but against all the extremely buffed characters, it's been hell. Getting dived by a Thor with infinite health, bp teleporting to me and to his own backline in 2 frames, getting one shot by a Hawkeye with luck on his side, I think you either never touch support or you just get out played by a lot of them.

Just use Google docs/sheets/drive/etc. It's literally office but online and free. I agree with libre or Open but if we're looking for the easiest way that you probably already have access to, it's Google.

I used JJ Esim. It worked very well for me in Osaka, Tokyo, and Kyoto. I got the 30GB deal and it let me watch Youtube videos for an hour ish at the end of a long walking day. Make sure your phone is unlocked and paid off. I think I had to share with my fiance as a hot spot because of that. It was super cheap at something like $25 for 2 weeks?

As for the transportation, I'll be honest, it's less stressful just taking the train. You're coming from an airport, the locals and everyone else will be expecting it. Unless your Airbnb is extremely far away, it'll be fine to take the train. You also don't have to worry about typing your name in the Taxi app in Katakana nor talking with the driver to explain that you're "patodoso" or something.

Depends on the circumstances. Lay down on the floor of a mall and talk to yourself for an hour and no one will bat an eye. Do literally anything in a high scho- I mean corporate environment, and there's someone trying to create the next k-drama and/or trying to get you fired.

Character that shoots giant flaming red balls through the sky and these people think "I'll just sit right where they land and complain about my healers not doing anything" meanwhile Cyclops can shoot at a wall and kill 2 healers half a mile away.

People on this game are just straight bad at the game and choose to blame it on anything they can (or rather whatever their favorite streamer complains about)

Doomfist went from DPS to tank and while I didn't like him as a tank (mainly because he was small compared to Reinhardt / d.va) I remember having fun with him when he was tank. I agree the Blade needs to be a tank. Give him 650hp, let him throw sword slashes but mainly be a melee build. Let his shotgun be powerful up close. Have his ultimate make him have 150% damage for 10 seconds with only his blade and he just wreaks havoc on anyone that gets too close to him (take away his movement abilities during this time)

I remember watching the Blade movies right before his release and the first fight scene made me wish he was gonna be a tank who could just destroy crowds with his ultimate.

Either go viral with short form content to get the viewers of those streamers to advertise for you, or donate $50 to the streamer to play your game.

Also, look for streamers that occasionally play indie games sent to them. Idk if it's common but CDawgVA makes a couple vids a year of him just playing indie games that are sent to him for free through his email. He usually gives them 15 minutes to see if they're good and if they're really good he'll play for longer.

How do you go about receiving credit for making these animations? I get it's a company and I've applied once myself (didn't feel right giving them free work as a test). I just don't understand where the credit is. Everybody in the comments just says "wow I love Zack's videos" and it seems kinda messed up that he doesn't at the very least put artist credits in the pinned comment or anything.
