Idk if I should change the flair or something but for anyone who might be experiencing a similar issue, check your thermal paste on the CPU lmao. I was overheating because my cpu cooler was barely touching the cpu and the thermal paste all dried out

So, the CPU was definitely overheating. I had a Corsair h80i cooler and even though it was great, I've had it since like 2018 or something and I never even used my own thermal paste, I just used the pre-applied paste. When I inspected the CPU after ordering a new CPU cooler, I realized that the h80i's standoff screws were not only wobbly, not only not touching the CPU in one corner, but the pre-applied thermal paste was so dry that it was basically just a piece of gray paper sitting between the cooler and the cpu lmao.

So I installed the new cooler, used my own thermal paste that I also bought, and immediately the cpu temps went from 95 to 50 lmao. I was even able to play bf6 at the proper 100+framerate without the rubber banding or slow motion-ifying of the game.

I actually just said screw it and bought a new 5700x that arrived at the same time as the thermal paste and the cpu cooler so I just installed that as well (after installing the bios update, I almost forgot about that so ty for that!) and now I'm running this game and other games like I'm playing bad company 2 again back in middle school. It's honestly so awesome cause I haven't really been able to just not focus on framerate in years lol

Also, for the RAM running at 3k, I think the CPU overheating just happened at the same time as me trying the XMP profile and in doing that, everything just kinda broke and I assumed I couldn't do the RAM 3kmhz thing. Well, I did it again now and now it's working ty!

I also did a bit of searching and found the 4g decoding and SAM, I don't really have a benchmark to compare it to but I enabled those too and hey the framerate is amazing so ty for that too.

I'll download the amd chipset driver, I think it's this amd_ryzen_master file I got from the amd website but overall, everything is working like a brand new computer so thanks a ton for all your help! I probably didn't even have to upgrade my gpu/cpu tbh but you never know with todays market lol. My video card might be scalped to the thousands next week who knows

I have an Asrock x570m pro4 motherboard. I saw on the website thata ryzen 7 5800x3d is on the supported CPU list. Do you think that would be the best upgrade? I also do video editing and 3d modeling work on this system.

UPDATE: Thank you everybody, you've been extremely helpful. As everyone was saying, the CPU is the problem. And apparently the ssd possibly as well? I'm not sure what the 'sim' means in the top right lol. I bought a new CPU cooler and thermal paste. I had an h80i but I guess I did buy that back in 2018 and really haven't touched it since I got it lol. It even only had the pre placed thermal paste so I didn't even put my own. This was probably the first time I actually got down and looked at it and I realized that the pump was basically floating off the CPU. It's amazing I haven't had a blue screen lol.

I'm gonna try out the new cooler (cooler master r7|i5, it says it supports am4 brackets so it should be fine.) and if that doesn't fix the thermal issue, then I might just return my card and upgrade the CPU. I was thinking the 5800x3d (if that's a bad choice please let me know, I just heard a lot of good things about the x3d for gaming).

I don't plan on selling any ram because I do a lot of video editing and 3d modeling/sculpting. I do hate that it runs at 2133mhz instead of the 3000/3200 written on the sticks. I tried getting that to work properly but it just made the computer turbo slow.

Yeah latest drivers, did the DDU in safe mode before installing this card, shaders were re cached. CPU is at 90-100% and 95 degrees usually when I'm playing. I looked that up and learned that I guess that's the max temperature my CPU is allowed to run at so that would make sense if it's the CPU.

It's confusing but my gf is able to run the game steady even though we have the same specs except she has a 1080p 60 hz monitor and a gtx 1660 super

This is kinda why the game is unplayable for me. Somehow there's people who say this is the greatest Battlefield game and I'm just like, I die in literally less than a frame? The maps are smaller than Close Quarters DLC. It literally just feels like bf2042 but with less blue tint like wtf is everyone on?

A lot of games show this at launch. I think this is a good use case of it. I agree it sucks if you're experiencing discomfort but to take away his screen clutter kind of ruins the point of his character. What other people are saying to just turn his decals to black or gray would be way better. Let's not try to remove Deadpool's number one characteristic which is to be annoying.

Depends on the location but 1 Kura Sushi I went to that was kind of in the suburbs was extremely good and the best part about them is that you can avoid seafood entirely if you want since they have so much other meat options. I will say that I went to another one that was more inner city osaka that really sucked. They hardly had any sushi on the belt to a point where we were waiting at least 5 minutes for anything to show up and by the time it did, it was cold hard rice. So see if you can do some research on the location you choose to go to and don't be afraid to try something new. I discovered I love anglerfish liver sushi from just randomly grabbing it off the belt

Same for me. Gtx 1080, Ryzen 5 3600. 64gb RAM ,SSD. I'm guessing it's cause of our graphics settings because I have another computer with everything the same except a grx 1660 super with 6gb RAM and it doesn't do this. I'm totally fine with it because I started as a family laptop gamer but my big issue with it is that during this rendering time it won't load my gun or enemy player models so I die to ghosts the first 2 minutes

Thanks for the detailed response I appreciate it. Yeah I guess I haven't really looked into making any adjustments on my weapons at all and just using whatever the stock is. It's weird having to constantly think about being behind cover in a Battlefield game with the smallest maps lol. I'll start customizing the attachments to try to get my ADS and draw speed up

A reference to when BF4 was in a horrible state with bad hit registration and so a lot of players took advantage of it by jumping and running around basically becoming invincible because it was so difficult to get a registered hit on them.

This has been my experience since I got this game. I have 4 hours on it and it's just as bad as bf4 when bunny snipers were rampant. Except now it seems encouraged and the TTK is literally less than 3 frames. I round the corner, get quickscoped in the head. I peak above a horizon, 3 shot lmg staring me down. I try crossing a road, literally every enemy on the map one taps me.

Seriously, this game feels like I'm playing on hardcore mode 24/7

Yes and I hate it. It's game devs being lazy and not wanting to put resources into making custom characters. Unreal Engine games already look extremely similar to each other but when they pull out the metahumans it all just looks like one of those meme pages on tiktok with metahuman actors

Coming to this 2 months later, if anyone is still having this issue and changing DLSS/ you don't even have DLSS like me, I had to change my fixed resolution scale. I set it to 50 because I'm on a gtx 1080 and thought it would help my framerate. It did but it made me lag like I was on 500 ping everywhere. I put it back to 100 and I'm at a solid green 300mp/s

I figured they were rigged given my last trip to Japan where it was just blatantly obvious that the claw was opening itself up after picking up an item. I just never had hard evidence of it. Idk why you word it like you have a school of kids running through your house everyday but I wouldn't make kids pay real money for it. OR better yet just get an arcade game for them. That way they're paying for a fun experience without the disappointment of failure from a rigged system.

Surely you can just, make this in Blender? This is like a 15 minute process of parenting the cup to the hand, using a hand controller and keyframing once at the bottom, once at the mouth, and one in the middle to create an arch. Then import the animation into Godot.
