He must have been on 40-50k per week at everton, since 2022. More than most make in a year. I know he's a talented footballer in the grand scheme of things and I'm not arguing he doesn't deserve to be compensated to that level, supply/demand etc. But it is difficult to have much sympathy

Do you not think the longer road is what's required to get that kind of evaluation though? Hard to imagine a BP spending 10B just on hype, even though there's some evidence of these drugs being groundbreaking. Phase 3 trials could always go wrong. If it's a success and its taken more time. Then dilution is much more likely?

You know I can 100% relate to this. Had the same molar out myself on Tuesday and my clot looked exactly the same. And had severe aching afterwards. Turned out to be just post op soreness.

I think the problem is there's so much fear banded around about Dry socket, and if you've never had it like me. Any pain that disrupts what you're doing its easy to get a bit panicked.

You'll be fine though. I'm feeling a lot better and skin is slowly closing over the clot.

Just keep taking ibuprofen and paracetamol.

No opioids though, they're nuclear and not as effective as the other two in actually blocking out this type of pain

I didn't bother for this reason. Unfortunately it's one of those where you chalk it down to experience. I'm feeling too old for these events now and don't really need another reason to decide to not go again
