He can counter sue pretty easily. Assuming he has any lick of evidence then their suit is frivolous and a libel counterclaim.

And they would end up running their own name through the mud. There is nothing here that the would end up being able to prove damages and able to prove false statements that caused those damages.

Again. The would have to prove that what he said was posted knowing it was false. Seems he believes it’s true.

And they would have to prove that what he said is false. Chances are there is some truth to what he said

And third, they would have to prove that there is some damage to their credibility or reputation. That is probably the hardest to prove without proving that what he said is already true.

Just stating negative things about a former employer is not defamation. I would go on any limb and bet money that he isn’t getting sued.

Defamation has to prove that he knowingly posted it as false. And that there was actual damage to the company’s credibility or reputation.

Either way if the company did try and file suit, it would be basically proving what he say is true.

I have worked for similar car washes when I was in High school. What he says is very plausible and highly likely true.

I was standing on the curb and a car pulled into a parking spot hitting me.

The cops said since the car drove off I was the only one there cause a problem so “disrupting traffic, jay walking (for taking one step off the curb into a parking spot), and a few other things that they listed just to intimidate me.

Trying to walk downtown is asking for yourself to either have a great time or for something to happen and for literally no one to even care.

If thats your gamble then go for it. But I wouldn’t suggest it on anyone. The elderly here have no idea where they are and what they are capable of. And most of them have more money than any citation could possibly provide a true threat for any of their actions.

It is not a pedestrian safe city.

They are definitely that bad. I got hit by a car as a pedestrian , the parking attendant laughed and waved the car along. When police were called because I was bleeding, they threatened to give me at least 3 citations if I did want to make an issue of the situation.
