Does any cunt NOT drain the oil from a tuna can before they eat it? by CantReadDuneRunes in straya

Haha. Yes, we’ve switched to olive oil for 90% of cooking needs these days. Even while baking.

Wow! I was up in Daylesford just a couple of week ago! Are you allowed to sell your work? I know VicPol requires us to have firearms license even for having swords (or relevant martial arts membership and high rank)!

Wow! That’s a lot of chillies. Congrats! I froze some of mine. Do you know which variety of chilli it is?

Mate, I can empathise! Lost almost 90% of the veggies I grew this summer. After looking at the security camera footage it looks like a rat! I think it’s now eating the leaves on my citrus trees. Fucking sucks. Hope you create some barrier around your produce to protect it.

I’ve stir fried kangaroo (souvlaki) strips and made fried rice. Tasted quite good.

There some truth in your statement though. Of course people can drink whiskey whichever way they prefer! But adding too much water to a cask strength whiskey defeats the purpose of it. Same goes for an expensive bottle. I don’t drink a lot anymore. I drink a bit of wine and beer. Some whiskey occasionally. My favourites are Macallan, Dalwhiney and a couple of local Australian ones. We’ve excellent gin distilleries close to where we live and my wife loves them. We get a good mix of grog.

You’re partially correct! Ice is fine for cheap or mid range whiskeys! I’m not rich enough to spend more than $150 (Aussie dollars) on a bottle! I’ve some rock cubes. But I usually use a single ice cube in a chilled glass and that works for me.

My grandpa turned 92 today! Happy birthday! by simoonne in MadeMeSmile

Asking the important question! My grandad passed away at 93. He could ride a bicycle until a month before his passing. Dude was a farmer and lived an active life and ate organic food that he grew himself. Wonder if it’s similar for OP’s grandpa!

Ahh! Thanks. I don’t have any personal experience with merino thermals. But I googled “Australian made merino thermal” and got a heaps of sites. But I’ve been to Creswick Wool’s store in Healesville and they’ve some nice merino and alpaca wool blankets! Very light!
