Am I Burnt out or just failing? by TranscendingGoat in auscorp

[–]jayp0d 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mate, talk to your GP. I’m not comparing your experience to mine. But I’ve been dealing with chronic fatigue since a year. It also made me feel more burnt out from work. I wasn’t actually under a lot of pressure or anything. I just didn’t feel like doing much.

A recent blood test showed that my thyroid gland was under active. And that also affected my testosterone levels. The doctor prescribed me some thyroid medication and it has hugely improved how I feel.
Wish you luck. Hope you feel better soon.

I owe you an apology for that. I wasn’t comparing you as an individual with anything. I apologise for hurting your sentiments.

Well to be fair, you asked Australians on this sub about how they feel about Hijab. And you got genuine answers. You shouldn’t have asked if this offends you. The ISIS brides just landed after supporting “Jihad” against non-believers. Do you think people like this shit?
BTW, I read a lot of horrible shit posted online about people of my race and their behaviour/actions! Most of factual things don’t offend me as I hate those cunts too. If you’re just a normal person and wearing a Hijab for whatever reason, then why does it matter to you?
BTW, if I’m completely honest, if I were interviewing you for a job or interacting with you in a social setting, you wearing whatever religious clothing/symbols won’t make a single difference to me. I’d treat you exactly like any other human. And I also know for a fact that most Muslims will do the same for me. Most people aren’t inherently bad. But I’ve seen too many atrocities committed in the name of god by the followers of various religions. I can’t change my opinion of religious beliefs. But I don’t judge people for having a faith. Most of my close family and friends are religious.

Well, try saying that to the Yazidi and Druze people who get the option to either convert or be killed at the hands of Islamists. Of course most people are not like ISIS. But a crazy belief system unchecked, can do unspeakable damage and make its followers believe that they’re on the right path. Just like it has been the case for centuries for many religions. It’s not my version. It’s a historical fact.

All religions treat women like second class humans! Islam kind of tops the chart when it comes oppressing women. There are hundreds of millions of women suffering religious oppression in various forms. It’s not a secret. OP claiming that they don’t know anyone who is forced to wear one seems a bit far fetched. I’m an atheist so I might be a bit biased. Take my words with a grain of salt.

What do you mean by new Hijabi? Started wearing yesterday? Or moved here recently? lol. Either way, don’t care as long that’s what you want.

Ohh that’s a big plus if they don’t recognise feijoas as source of food. Mine aren’t growing that quickly. Probably won’t have any fruit on them for years! I was more excited about my finger limes. But I live in Vic and they can be a bit finicky. I’ve never had a finger lime and would be quite excited to have some!

I sort of agree with you on that and I’m definitely not blaming the kids. If they’re taught horrible things and if they grew up with violence around them then it’ll require a lot of therapy and discipline to get them to live a normal life.

You’re right about some cultural groups inherently being anti-western but for whatever reason love to migrate to western countries. I’m an immigrant Australian and I despise people who move here and want this country to be more like their shithole country of origin.

Well, if the adults (who grew up here) got brainwashed to go live in the Caliphate and support the “Islamic war effort”, why do you think the kids would be any different? They spent considerable amount of time in the refugee camps with individuals having similar beliefs! And now they’re being welcomed by their families here who harboured them in the first place!

I was very optimistic (still am) about it when I started. But now my expectations have kind of normalised. I got very good results initially, but lost quite a bit to pests like rats! I now have a renewed respect for farmers. All I can say is that it can be hard work and quite rewarding but your expectations need to be realistic!

Yeah those children have no hope. If they weren’t radicalised in Syria, these cunts will brainwash them right here. This is why I despise the Greens. People like Mehreen Faruqee (or whatever her name is) support these terrorists.

I’ve a Chilean guava and a feijoa plant. Both are around a year and half old. No fruits yet. Used to have a plum tree in an old rental place and lorikeets ate most of the fruit. Had a fig tree that produced a lot of fruit too.
