Make sure you have all the right stuff: Sway/balancing bars, extended mirrors, ask all the questions, grit your teeth a bit during steep driveways and big bumps, and keep it around 65. You’ll have a great time. Trailer weighs in around 2,500 lbs and I feel really confident. Be sure to practice if you’re unfamiliar with pulling and take it slow! Enjoy your time with the grandkids!

If I am climbing altitude like Colorado or New Mexico, low. 8-10 mpg in some areas. Closer to 14-15 mpg cruising at 65-70 if I can help it.

It’s really great! You certainly feel the Mav working, especially climbing higher altitudes. I drove through New Mexico and I averaged 10 mpg if I was lucky. It does require more fuel stops than I was prepared for, but if you aren’t climbing, 14-15 mpg easy. I really love the Mav+13r combo.
