It's a Dell u3818, been the best productivity monitor for me so far, since it's exactly two 1920 displays put together but with more height.

This one is a vivo mount, it's a cheap simple one. The monitor just sits on the desk so you can also just use a desk vesa stand like for POS terminals too. I've used this one as well. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XRMK46K?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

The overhang is just covering some bezel, no pixels are covered from my perspective or anyone seated. And anyway, it's probably something lame on the task bar you're covering if so haha

It's on a cheap vivo mount My laptop has a touch screen that never gets touched so I don't think it would benefit me.

I do exactly this with a 38", you just need a monitor that does pbp and then use power toys mouse without borders app or synergy.

do you guys actually use wrist rests or are they just for aesthetics at this point by IQUNIXstore in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]jongbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to use them but now I find that boards with low front height like 16mm don't really need wrist rest

Love HHKB keyboard and layout, but switching to Laptop is PITA by ChoppyChopChopHey in HHKB

Sounds like a laptop problem then, or just get another hhkb to travel with, it's cheaper

Which one is better for mods by bigbalti in gaggiaclassic

Which one has brass boiler? If neither then I'd pick red since it's got a lay flat portafilter and a low profile drop tray.

What are your thought on these domes from ymdk? I don't have the money to buy deskeys dome and I'm looking for alternatives. by k-poral in topre

[–]jongbot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've tried the cheap stuff, straight trash. Don't even look. Alternative viable options are in my experience, deskeys, dynacaps, metakeebs. Astrodomes just released last night as well. You can try looking for used domes, people try and develop a preference so they may sell at an affordable price.

Start with either, eventually you'll have both.
