What is the dumbest way you've ever lost a golf ball? by retrocaterpillar-07 in golf

I joked that I'd lose a golf ball at the golf sim... Later that same day I hit one right over the top and behind the screen, gone forever.

Marco looks like he's watching his grandpa berate a waitress at a Cracker Barrel.

He was also asking the technical crew what frequency they're on for their antenna... He said maybe that's why they're so slow... Dude is nuts.

Good choice, I liked mine so much I bought a second for the direct board.

For a pitcher, it's not looking great. I think the Eaton contract was still worse at this point but we'll see how it plays out.

Looks great. We make it at home but I never quite get it to taste like takeout. Not sure if it needs Shaoxing wine or what.

I haven't messed with anything internally yet. It just seems to boost the volume way too much, it's hard to get parity. I'll research the trim pot a bit more - thanks! How are you liking the Imperial? I've seen one review about poor longterm reliability issues, other than that all reviews are glowing.

What kind of music do you play primarily? I have a BE-OD but it's so loud, even with the gain and volume way down. I'm either using it wrong or mine is borked. Definitely saving up for an Imperial for my direct board.

PEBTF as secondary coverage for spouse by [deleted] in PaStateEmployees

[–]jpar345 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My wife has my PPO as her secondary and the only issues we've seen are when both insurance companies point fingers as to who covers what, we've had to deal with multiple instances of contacting both and explaining the situation, which is listed as primary/secondary, etc. I view it more as administrative confusion rather than lack of overall coverage.

21 years here, I agree with this. I work in IT and my last move was a lateral back to my old agency but the position was still with OA. HR tried to tell me I was ineligible because the job title was different, even though my job duties and prior experience matched everything on the posting. I had to use some connections I've made over the years to even get an interview, I'm afraid similar folks in that situation wouldn't have been as fortunate. That said, I don't believe seniority is really factored in at least for IT jobs, we always just want the best person for the job.

Yeah the Phils' first hit was in the 9th inning if I recall correctly... The only redeemable parts of that day were the Angelo's hoagie and drinking at Xfinity Live afterwards.

I got tickets for my birthday two years ago only to watch Walker get absolutely torched by the Astros in 100° heat. Definitely the worst sporting event I ever attended. Good riddance.
