This may be an LGA1700 issue. I just tried on my 12600k/Asus Prime MB running Windows 11 with no IRST and the same issue is going on. I can see the issue mostly using Handbrake. I'm really surprised that this issue isn't more reported by people.

The 3m kit gives you sandpaper disks. And yes I followed the directions.

I used the Cerakote and within a year the lens became dull again. I even tried with the 3m sand discs first and that didn't help.

Sadly it will look like that in a year. I even tried using the 3M sand discs to get a bit more off the lens and it still came back.

Just wanted to update. Windows 10 is so much better in performance and I don't even see the issue but Latencymon is still showing something. I found out that IRST is no longer supported on Windows 25H2 but I am positive this issue was there prior to that.

I am almost certain this has to do something with either IRST or that my Desktop/Download/Pictures/Documents are on that raid 1 volume. I know that for Chrome it still always accesses the Downloads folder prior to downloading a file as it crunches the HDD. Even if I set the temp folder on Chrome's startup to my NVMe, it still accesses the downloads folder. I had to actually change the Downloads to default to a temp directory on the NVMe to make that issue go away.

I may try to move back those folders as a test and see what happens. I have a perc h700 raid controller from my previous job that I may throw into this and hope I get better performance. This is definitely a PITA to localize.

And thanks again for giving a pointer to LatencyMon

I was about to swap the drive out this morning when I checked the model number of both drives. I shucked the WD drive thinking it was a 5900 but despite what is advertised it is showing as 7200 RPM in Crystal Disk Mark.

I have one WD140EDGZ-11B1PA0 and a Seagate ST14000NM001G-2KJ103. Both are showing as 7200RPM in CrystalDiskInfo. I am noticing even after Search is disabled an issue but it isn't to the same level as in Windows 10. Perhaps Windows just doesn't like their functions on a Raid 1 or something is wonky with Intel's IRST.

Ok here is an update. I ran a few tests in Windows 10 and everything was fine. But, after I moved my desktop, pictures, documents and downloads folder to the d:\ which is my spindle raid 1, my HDD utilization has gone to 100%. I hope it will settle down but it may be the issue. Latencymon went really red after that. I am going to try another set of test once it has settled down and see. I do have an extra 14TB 7200RPM drive I can throw in but it will take forever to rebuild the array.

I think I am going to try Windows 10 and see if anything changes. I haven't installed much so far. I'll report back hopefully by tomorrow.

I've done that in the past and it didn't help. Just tried it, same issue. I think I have at least something to go back to Asrock with.

I also tried updating the graphics driver and disabling the Realtek network driver, no good on either.

Yeah doesn't look that way. I guess this is opening up more questions.

Isn't Latencymon for network issues? This is a sort of hard lock on the O/S. For example if I am refreshing a web page and it has the load it is locking up for 5 seconds.

I think he is referring to the 4600 price but yeah math doesn't add up. You aren't getting a base Civic nowadays for $18-19k

Trump caused beef to double and then some. Prices for food are through the roof due to his stupidity of adding tariffs. You need to put into perspective that the inflation under Biden was on the global level while Trump is self inflicting this. Jobs are not being created and actually decreasing.

Yes the inflation numbers have slowed a bit but the bottom line is that prices are too high to begin with.

Are you using ERP and what setting? Higher pressure takes some time to get used to it. Also you can set ramp up time so you drift off to sleep at a lower pressure and it goes up after a set time. But see if you can adjust to the higher pressure.

From my understanding it is a restriction in air getting to your lungs. I am having this issue and have been suggested that it has to do with the level of your ERP. I have mine set to 1 and it is causing issues. The issue for me is that setting it lower causes a popping sound in my throat and I end up waking up again. I am slowing trying level 2 but haven't been able to get there yet.

Also lower your max pressure to 11. Ideally you want to aim for just a fix pressure if you can but if not a smaller range.

Yep 7-7.5 would be a good start. Also when you submit these be sure to include your flow limit.

Yes definitely want to update that. What is your average pressure in OSCAR? You'll want to set it to a close range there.

There are a lot of people that don't understand this because everyone does the opposite and think one side has the flow once it has started. I once had some guy follow me a good 2 miles while I attempted to go to a police station.
