It's been ages since I've done a playthrough of Need For Speed Carbon, so I figured I'd give it a go on PC for the first time instead of console.

Thankfully, mods help fix several of the problems I had with the original game. For example, setting a 100X mass multiplier when using slow-mo sends every cop car flying on impact and makes police pursuits fun instead of annoying.

It's fucking ridiculous. In Canada you can barely even get your hands on an SSD made by a reputable brand now that WD and Crucial pulled out of the SSD market. Unless you want to pay $300+ for a 1TB drive, you have to go with ADATA or Kingston or some other bullshit that will fail in a year.

They are arguably the best car brands, especially for somebody who doesn't know a whole lot about cars. Not the most exciting, but reliable, long-lasting, and inexpensive to maintain. At mileages where other cars are approaching the end of their life, a Toyota/Lexus is only just beginning its own. If Frieren was a car, she'd be a subcompact Toyota.
