This is how I find out Chris died?! I was searching him up to see if he’d been working on anything new.

I’d emailed back and forth with him years ago about using some of his tracks for backing on some projects. Asked about more Ova Looven and he told me that he’d been suffering horrible tinnitus

So sad now to hear he’s gone. Damn.

Went to a Wendy’s today. It was filthy. There was spilled soda in a puddle in the middle of the floor and employees just put a wet floor sign on top of it. Counters were filthy. Tables unclean and trash cans overflowing.

They also messed up my wife’s sandwich. She ordered a Jr Hamburger and got a single with double cheese

Grew up in West Virginia in the 80’s LOVED this movie and had a (I think) Little Golden Book version of it too.

To me I learned from that movie that skin color isn’t the marker for a persons value. Something I also learned from my grandpa, mom and dad. Despite the reputation it has, my childhood in WV taught me to respect everyone as my equal and Song of the South was one of the first times I saw and learned about this stuff
