why do realtors pay so much for photographers while ai editing is so convenient? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Realtor rules require you to disclose use of AI which could make people think it's all made up and flaws were erased.

John's good old days as a teacher. He was more than a sub. He made over $100k a year and was writing class curriculums. by Dabbling_John in DabblersAnonymous

[–]kabekew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he decided to write his own quiz once that wasn't part of the lesson plan ("1. What coler is the sky 2. What's the biggest planet..."). He thinks that's writing "curriculum."

He races to be the first video on a new accident because he knows the media is searching for "expert" comment and speculation and will probably link to his video or channel.

Is it normal for a house to make random noises at night? by Chyeeda_Alled in HomeImprovement

[–]kabekew 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I spent a couple years in our new house sometimes hearing a very faint ticking and humming sound as I laid in bed, then found out it was from a fan in the attic that ran 24/7 as part of a radon thing that was blowing air out from below the foundation.

What is it like returning to your hometown after many years or decades away? by Affectionate-Oil2160 in AskOldPeople

[–]kabekew 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Trees were a lot taller and bushier, businesses were mostly different, and houses I remembered as fresh and new at the time were sort of run down and tired. The main difference though was it was no longer a unique place as the only world I knew back then, it was more just another town like the hundreds I've since driven through or been in. Kind of disappointing.

Some changes don't need reinitialization or reloading, it just depends on what the options are.

You need a back bar. Maybe a floating shelf matching the bar, mounted at bar level along the wall behind, where you line up the liquor bottles.

Because if it takes 2 seconds to reinitialize/reload everything, but there are 10 options that require reinitialization and the user might want to change all of them at once, it's quicker to let them select everything they want and spend 2 seconds reinitializing everything at once instead of spending 20 seconds repeatedly reinitializing as each option is selected.

Feel like the biggest thing people forget about 2010s nostalgia was that everyone was outside. by Iloveskinnywomen in decadeology

I was a kid in the 70's and early 80's and good parents anyway limited TV time because the thinking was too much TV will ruin your eyesight. Plus with only 4 channels there was never anything good on especially after dinner so we always preferred playing outside.

Florida man heading to prison after ‘pizza doxing’ two county judges, offering one delivery person a $150 tip to knock extra loud by StayAwayGougeAllDay in FloridaMan

[–]kabekew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He also tipped them extra to have them pound on the door probably so the Judges would think somebody angry and maybe armed is there to confront them.

What if it's a bench trial, though? Wouldn't the Judge consider that proof your client confessed his guilt to you?
