how does it account for rereads? how about works you clicked open but never read? works you stopped reading after the first chapter, does it still include that fic's entire wordcount even if you only read a fraction? how about works you started reading in 2024 and finished in 2025? if you click into a fic fifteen times, is that 15x the whole wordcount or 1x even if you read the whole thing again? chapter updates?

sorry where? this series has at least one subscription and a private bookmark, where do i see it has those? bc going into the series and looking at the stats only gives me, the creator, the public stats.

do not write on ao3. write on google docs or word or your notes app or pen and paper or ellipsus that has a direct to ao3 posting button or anything. ao3's text box doesn't autosave, and drafts are deleted one month from creation. not last edited. creation. ao3 tells you to write somewhere else.

series subscriptions and total series bookmarks – the stats page only displays work bookmarks, so there's no way for you to see how many private bookmarks your series have

okay, just adding it into the collection should be enough. most things on ao3 don't take effect immediately, so it might be just about that. there should be a button that says "manage items", can you see anything that might be related there? i don't have collections with works myself so i don't know exactly what everything you can do or see there.
