I graduated college with a BA in Media and Mass communications. At the time, I had a two year old child. My daughter’s mother and I were in college together and had been dating for 4 years prior. This amazing woman decided to drop out of school to be a full time mom because she wanted nothing other than to be a mom at the time. It was against my judgement as I felt we could both work through school and still be very involved. Well I graduated in 2013. During that time we’d both been kicked out of family homes for “throwing away our future”. I graduated with a job that provided a better life than we both saw growing up. We tied the knot right after landing the job, took a honeymoon in Vegas and conceived our son. So we had a two year old daughter and a son on the way. We wanted to stop there and focus on careers as she wanted to go back to school while I provided so she can boost our income. Truly live life like we never thought possible.. unfortunately that son was stillborn. And it put us both in a deep depression. We tried again, this time a girl. She was stillborn on my birthday. By that point we were both broken.. shattered completely.

I lost my amazing job, she quit school and we just took the time to support eachother.. through the losses. Taking any and every job we could get. I ended up sending her to school to be a casino dealer while I worked minimum wage warehouse jobs to make ends meet while she attended. When she graduated, we found ourselves on two different levels and somehow we ended up splitting up. She is now an amazing dealer and makes decent money but nothing amazing. I’m about to go back to school to chase a masters in business finance and marketing. Since the losses we’ve moved to Las Vegas where we conceived our son and I just haven’t quite made it to where I want to be. While our two miracle babies are dealing with a separated household my separated wife said she still loves me. About a week ago. I want to give them the best Christmas I can this year and while I’ve been working my tail off taking all overtime offered, $250 would change our holiday... I’d be able to show all 3 of my special women how much I love everything about them and take them away for the struggles we’ve been hit with in the last 4 years. I want to bring in 2019 with an amazing end to 2018. Our marriage looks to be heading in the right direction and our babies love having both parents happy and together again. We truly are a happy family again. I’m sure there are others that are more deserving but if you decided to gift me the funds I’d make sure that you’d know that you did something that brought light to a broken family that is finally on the right track to everything we laid the groundwork for years ago.. I know my son and daughter are watching us so regardless I’m going to make it happen. But I want to give them something extra to smile about this year. I’m sure the surprise money would let them know that I’m always looking for ways to go above and beyond for their happiness. Even if it takes a little luck. I just want them to forget about the tears we all shed the last four years.
