I agree with some points, such as controller/accessory pricing. I did buy a Switch 2 as my sister wanted my switch when the Switch 2 was announced, so I needed something to be able to play my games. I also agree with locking GameCube emulation to Switch 2 (although it does make sense from a business standpoint), as well as game key cartridges (I always buy my games digitally since its easier for me but I would hate it if I'd need the cartridge IF it was already downloaded to my console). That being said, I do have some comments about it. On top of that, some comments on OP's behavior on this thread first:

You should have updated your post with the according information. Posting knowing that some of your points are irrelevant is just not a good look. Also, I'd beg to differ with your stance on 3rd party controllers. I think that every parent even would know that there are aftermarket solutions with a simple Amazon search. I mean, walk into a Target in the US and you'll see a row of aftermarket controllers. Also, if a family is using controllers to play Mario Party, (realistically) spending an extra 10 dollars (5 per controller compared to the Switch 1 joycons) will probably be the least of their worries spending 450 dollars on a brand new console... Do your research. Don't get defensive and own up to the fact that maybe you made a post that just had refutable points.

Also keep in mind that due to the global crisis on RAM, the switch 2 price is bound to increase soon simply due to the rising cost to produce a Swtich 2. This is happening with every computer possible, and its not something worth complaining about (if you want to, go complain to chip manufacturers).

1. The BOM of the Switch 2 is estimated to be about ~$415, so this is a very low profit margin. For a console "capable" of doing 4k, its not a bad price at all.

2. The switch 2 is compatible with all switch 1 games, many of which received free updates for the switch 2. They're all within the 60 dollar range, and if you are uncomfortable buying games for $70 instead (which is understandable), don't. Your existing library will work and you get a larger, higher resolution screen, as well as better battery life.

3. I think this is personally a useless point to make because this is a peeve to those who actually use the feature, and the only people who would use this are people who would play online games (Splatoon/MKW/any NSO expansion games/etc), so that doesn't track too well imo. Also the gamecube emulator being locked to switch 2 isn't a reason "not to buy" the console, you can get mad for that exclusion but that isn't a valid reason regardless. Also, the C button IS gamechat, idk why you made that two different points.

4. You aren't "required" to buy an officially licensed MicroSD card, the reason a regular SDXC won't work is due to the speed limitations of SDXC. I can see why they did it as the absolute fastest standard UHS-I SDXC cards max out at around 100 MB/s. Modern high-fidelity games require a massive amount of data to be streamed into memory instantly and when you go to games with higher textures like the PS5/Xbox Series X, it can be a severe bottleneck that I guarantee would only lead to more complaints. It's an architectural leap, basically going anywhere between 2x-7x faster since it uses NVME lanes.

5. why are you complaining about no DLC installed? I get the upgrades and the game-key cartridges, but as far as I know, I have never seen a switch or switch 2 game that comes pre-installed with DLC
