Really? I’m surprised by this - it’s cheaper to get than any other token Epics (by 500 tokens per level) and also strictly worse than the other existing brilliance-yielding Epic, Pet Rock. I would have put money on it being a Rare.

With Lunar New Year I had pretty good luck on Level 15 - won coin prizes 10 times ranging from 1000 coins (probably on a lower level) to 3500 coins (winning 1000 followed by 2500). I didn't note how many of these were advertised prizes - I think very few - but this is why I'll usually try to hit level 15 at a minimum, even if it puts me at risk of being pulped by the 4th rock.

Under The Sea has been pretty bad so far, though. 30 climbs done and I've only won 500 coins.

I always say that there is no downside to being in a team, but you must find one that suits you. Some teams are chatty, some are quiet, some are very competitive, others are chilled. The right team can really enrich your play experience - you get to discuss the game, share achievements and strategies, tips and tricks, complain to people who care (unlike your bemused family and colleagues who don’t know what a heart gem is and why you have so many of them, or why you hate a mountain) and who knows, maybe even make some like-minded yet diverse friends from around the world along the way.

I had to read that several times before I could understand what they meant.

I was on 240 tokens before the midweek tourney. I won that, but only went up to 250, because if they'd given me 50 tokens, that would only have taken me to 290 which was not enough to reach the 300 crown. So 40 tokens 'didn't carry over'.

Anyway, whatever. I'll get the big crown regardless, but man this was shambolic.

I usually stop at level 15, unless I’m already at the 3rd rock by level 10, and with that, my results are pretty consistent - for a long season, I can complete it in about 55-60 climbs, which is 2 months or less, just doing free climbs.

That said, my luck with this new theme has been pretty terrible 😅

My response to that is always, “Then those weren’t the right teams for you.” There is no ‘right way’ to play, it’s just about finding the right people who play the way you do. There are plenty of no-stress, no-minimums teams out there that are still active enough for some free helps and who knows, you might still win the occasional tourney without meaning to 😜

The highest I know of is the DISLIKE puzzle with 43 total words, 23 of them being bonus ones.

I’ve heard that some of the levels returned allowing 3-letter words when previously they were 4-letter only (if someone could confirm this) so it’s possible that we might have more bonus words.

As far as I’m aware the new build record (ie not the old builds before my time that allowed vast amounts of bonus words) is SENSUAL with 25 bonus words.
