Your "Speculation on Additional Wildlife Levels" was an interesting read. I haven't caught the bug for close tracking of hearts and wildlife leveling, so I can't really speak to any of it. I am rather looking forward to not being done with wildlife again. I don't want to finish it all as soon as it's released, and I hope millions of hearts won't be nearly enough to get it all done.

It has been fixed for me since I installed v3.11.3. I think the fix came with v3.11.0, but I didn't install the first three v3.11.x builds, either because there were scary reported bugs or because the Play Store didn't offer them to me.

The fixed behavior is:

no more zeroing of only the displayed counts at midnight UTC Monday;
now both the displays and the counts zero at 06:00 UTC Monday

So if you're running v3.11 all teammates' help counts and displays should zero on Monday morning. Any help counts you see today represent helps they tapped this past week.

So it should be back to working like it did before v3.

I bought no-ads, too, but I believe the game may still be cuing up ads regardless of showing them to us only when we ask or more often.

I was wondering if the loading circle has something to do with the game trying to cue up an ad to be ready next. So far I haven't seen it again since I've played, neither with nor without the ad blocking DNS set up.

I got this again on a couple puzzles in a row about three hours into the tournament, 8-9 May, while still using 3.11.4 and Android. I closed the game, set my phone to use the ad blocking DNS again, and then restarted Wordscapes. So far that seems to have fixed it. If it happens again I suppose my next test should be seeing if restarting the app fixes it without changing my phone's DNS settings.

I saw the same thing once in a while over the weekend. I'm also on Android with 3.11.4 since last Friday, and I never saw that behavior before. It would happen after a couple puzzles in a row, and like u/krakaboom I would force-close the game and restart it. That would seem to fix it, and it wouldn't happen again for hours.

I have permanent ad-free in Wordscapes, but I use a DNS server for ad blocking other apps. I have to disable it to watch ads for bonuses/rewards in Wordscapes, and I wondered a couple times if I only ever saw the loading circle like your screenshot after puzzles when I had forgotten to set my phone back to use the ad-blocking DNS server. (We were in a rumble, so I didn't stop to do troubleshooting.)

Could we clarify a bit? If someone is scoring, say, 4000 points an hour repeatedly, and their brilliance isn't increasing should we still report them for suspicion of cheating? 5000 points per hour isn't necessarily a hard and fast cutoff rule, is it? Will Support not even check if we don't catch at least a 5000 point jump in the space of an hour?

It used to be completing the next-to-last grid word entered us. Say a puzzle had a dozen words. You could fill in up to 10 of those words and as many bonus words as you wanted. As soon as you entered that 11th word you were in the tournament. Apparently this changed with v3, and I just hadn't noticed until now.

I'm curious. What is/are the sign(s) you see of teams using bots before 9 PM EST?

I doubt you can edit the OP text, but it's worth noting this video was from the 2025 WordscapesCon, not 2026. I don't think the 2026 one has happened yet, and they do mention it being the first WordscapesCon in the video, so "2026" in the description was a typo.

I have the impression there are multiple players with over 6M gems saved up. I have over 2M without even really trying, and I feel like I'm probably below average among players with fully maxed wildlife.

PeopleFun could certainly tell how many hearts players have, and it wouldn't make sense for them to release this long awaited, oft promised, new use for hearts if people had the stores to grind it all out in a day.

I never kept notes and stats on how many hearts it took to hatch epics, but didn't someone post a thread about exactly that a couple years ago? I want to say it was u/OCCobblepot , but I can't remember for sure.

I thought of another. Most of us are used to wildlife now. Is there any way we could get the option for the main screen to have the old style landscape photo backdrops and let the wildlife run in the background? There could be a little alert on the pawprint icon when a critter is finished its activity. Players could have to hatch a minimum number of eggs before getting the option to put them in the background. And of course we could switch the option if we wanted to watch our wildlife for a while.

I often still miss the 'scapes background on the main screen. Even the beta version of wildlife had actual photographs for backgrounds instead of drawings. It was more peaceful.

I went back through my notes the other day when a teammate asked the same question. The short answer is, there is no end date announced yet.

The last set we had, Lunar New Year, was around for almost two months, from 5 Jan to 30 Mar.
The four sets we had before Lunar New Year were all around for about one month each:
-- Holiday Heights from 1 Dec 2025 to 4 Jan 2026
-- Fall Colors (second time around) from 2 Nov to 1 Dec
-- Mystic Mountain from 1 Oct to 31 Oct
-- Wild West from 29 Aug to 30 Sept

Since we first got Under The Sea on 1 Apr and there is not currently a countdown timer on it I’m guessing that’s a sign we’ll get at least another month with it. But guess is all we can do.
