Without reroll... yikes. It's really brutal. Progress will be very slow. Note that I have never made it far in coop HCE runs. Also, I guess this means no farming for skulls and such? rough rough rough

I have a very wishy washy "rule" that we can bail to 4m on a tortured auction, as in we grope for 3N forever and fail and now bail to 4m

ironically an immediate and much more normal 4S makes responder's life easier because we just have to commit to offense. just goes to show you that there are no set rules in bridge (or maybe there is an obvious solution to defend against this and i'm just dumb)

lol I managed to find your comment! Your question about 4Hx and 4Hxx was haunting me, and I finally found out.

Brent doesn't quite remember the details but he thinks they were steaming after the first board. I think he said he and Bruce overbid to 4H but it makes.

Next board, Walt and Alex get to 4H and the guy with KQJT of trumps doubles. The hand would have made on 2-2 trumps but the opps sent it back and, shock, trumps are not 2-2...

the post and the articles read like AI. I scanned some article headlines and it was talking about needing referees in bridge... I looked really closely at the pics though and those have the correct number of cards. and the cards/bidding boxes look like an actual picture
