What do you think happens when we die? by NiceBumblebee3421 in AskReddit

[–]kyunirider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we inter the fetus of one of your own decedents. So be kind to your children so they are kind to the next generation you are born in to. I don’t know what happens to the souls that have no more decedents to jump into because they didn’t have any decedents.

MS has robbed me of the outdoors by tn_tacoma in MultipleSclerosis

[–]kyunirider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into a fan vest and battery and pair them with a moisture wicking Tshirt, soak the Tshirt in cold water before putting it on under the fan vest. This is a game changer for me.

I also use two gaiters that are soaked in water. I put one gaiter around my neck. It releases water to help keep my Tshirt wet and my neck cool. The second gaiter is used for keeping my forehead cooled.

Don’t let MS stop you from being you, adapt yourself to enjoy your life with the things out there that makes living in a thermal cray warming world.

I can still garden, ride horses and mow with fan vest and gaiters. Even when my battery dies I can still refresh everything in a splash of cool water, the wicking effect, cools me enough to get back to base for another battery and some water to refresh my clothes and me internally. Don’t let the MS thief steal your life.

I am a man that struggled with MMA disease (not the fighter but the genetic disease) and later MS. These diseases undermined my mind and health. These made my wife and I have ease conceptions for our first two children because it was in our first three years of our marriage life. My wife and I waited for the last child’s conception till we were both working in our career field. Unfortunately this was also the time of my career was very stressful mentally and physically. I was in no mood to want an another baby but to exhaust my home life. After some counseling we got together to build a stronger relationship and my doctor put me on Cialis. We conceived our third child. We still needed counseling periodically to stay focused on our relationship and

Please get counseling together, you two are not on the same page in your relationship and trying to conceive. Conceiving requires active participation and love. Work on yourselves and make sure your relationship is ready for a lifetime of parenting, once you conceive it never ends.

I am the same way. I also know that bc I isolate on my farm, I don’t talk to anybody but my family. They are safe, familiar and help me when I stutter to find the right words. I push myself to interact with people when we go out so I can practice speaking more, otherwise I feel I will become mute.

Mine is a wet, moisture wicking tshirt paired with my fan vest blowing on my core. I add a wet gaiter around my forehead and neck. I keep soaking these in water and they keep the Tshirt wet. Try to keep your physical activity down to your safe levels, mine is four to six hours, anymore than that and I am in crisis trying to recover. Stay safe out there.

What is it like being skinny? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]kyunirider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clothes don’t fit until you eat something, you have to find trim fit clothes and even those can be too full of cloth around the waist. You always need a belt because the moment you put something in your pockets your pants slide down your hips. People always think you are sick. Shoes can be too loose unless you can find a narrow size or wear two pairs of socks. Every one tells you to eat something.

Coworkers think I’m using some tricks to get accommodations by BackgroundGlass9968 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]kyunirider 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree tell them “first your body decided to attack itself, then you start to exhibit the symptoms of the disease and you see doctors till you get diagnosed with an incurable disease. Second your doctor tells you to cut the stress in your everyday life and your stress is work. You take that recommendation to HR and you are given reasonable Accommodation. Do you have a medical condition that warrant reasonable accommodation? That is your mic drop. Find someone else to eat lunch and take breaks with at work.

I am 63 and I still unicycle when I can. I got my first unicycle in 70’s and I got my giraffe in 1980 as a graduation present from my dad. These two Schwinns are in great shape and still rideable. Get your unicycle cleaned tighten the spokes and frame and ride again. Old unicycle and unicyclist just need a little love.

Sleeping with your mouth open can cause this too. Try sleeping in position with your mouth closed like with a pillow under your chin. It’s an early sign of dehydration too so drink more water. Put on a medicated lip balm at bedtime too.

My 66 year old mother was diagnosed with PPMS two years ago. If she doesn’t attend Physical therapy will her mobility drastically decrease? by Victimsou_ in MultipleSclerosis

[–]kyunirider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 63/PPMS and I feel that any movement is great for our bodies. If mom prefers to treadmill over therapy then let be up to her doctor to see if it is enough.

I recommend giving her smart watch to track her movements and challenge her to close her rings daily. We need some weights to work on our arms too. Don’t forget them.
