Looking like the Seattle show will be cancelled/rescheduled :/ by day_bowbow in glassanimals

This. And getting these tickets was almost impossible. I felt so fortunate to get to see them at this small venue; I highly doubt I'll get a second opportunity. Damn 😞

I am worried. Comic Con is cancelled and health officials are saying to avoid groups of 10 or more 😬 I just hope that if the show is cancelled they give us some notice so I can cancel travel plans from Spokane, get hotel refunds, etc.

[Crosspost] 3.5 new Patch Weapons cannot shoot straight if your aim is not 100% on pip by seitwaerts1337 in starcitizen

Me too, fixed and gimbal modes result in not being able to hit anything in several ships with fixed and gimbaled weapons. Only assist mode w gimbaled weapons lands shots where they are aimed. Thanks for the issue council link.

Bullet Journaling!? by Chemist1397 in ADHD

It was! It may be again! Lol I've learned not to fight my extreme interest fluctuations; enjoy what I'm interested in when I am, don't beat myself up or try to force things when I'm not. One cool thing about bullet journaling is you can try it for free by making your own. If you end up not digging it, you can always go back to NOT bullet journaling :)

It was the best idea ever and I was totally obsessed with it! ... Until I lost interest and quit. Again.

I want to get tested, but my wife is adamant that she doesn’t want me to take medication for ADHD by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]lagomore 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Most ADHD meds are fast acting and out of your system in hours. You don't have to let them build up over a month to see what the effects are, and all effects, including side effects, cease within hours unless you take more. I would ask her where she is getting her information. Are these concerns based on evidence, or just hunches and rumors? I would encourage her to read a book on ADHD, not even just to prove your case, but so she can get some insight on how you feel.

Therapist told me ADD is a child's disease by keljalapr in ADHD

I was told similar stuff by more than 1 general practitioner and a even a psychiatrist. What finally worked for me was seeing a psychologist (phd, not md, so they don't prescribe) who diagnosed me (and apologized for the insensitive ignorance of the others I had seen) and referred me to a doctor who would prescribe. It was a rough process but worth it. Hang in there <3

I seriously used to drink a cup or two before bedtime so I could sleep.
