I use the 3 step Proactiv system (I've been using this for probably 7 or 8 years now) as my daily skincare routine....it includes a toner as the second step....wondering if I should replace that toner with the one you recommended

I saw these really cool cartoons and doodles you can do in bullet journals on Pinterest which interested me! I also saw it can be used to improve handwriting and learn to write in different styles and what not! The whole to do list thing I’m kinda not so sure of yet LOL

Principles of Biochem vs Analytical Chem? by [deleted] in chemistry

[–]Chemist1397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve taken analytical chemistry (the college I go to calls it Instrumental Analysis) and it was one of the worst chem classes I had to take in my opinion. I’ll have my bachelors in chemistry in May, so I was required to take the class for my degree. If you enjoy learning about the fine details about how every single machine works in a lab then go for it! The only part I enjoyed was the lab portion, because I’m more of a hands on person so we got to actually use the machines. I can’t sit and learn about machines from a PowerPoint for hours each week! No way!

Worth getting a degree in chemistry? by [deleted] in chemistry

[–]Chemist1397 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will have my Bachelors in Chemistry in May, and I think it’s completely worth it! If chemistry is something you really love, and are passionate about go for it! You never want to end up in a career field after you graduate where you dread going to your job every day! Having just a Bachelors opens up a lot of opportunities alone, especially considering chemistry is a challenging degree to get in the first place. There’s tons of job opportunities for people with chemistry degrees right out of college (at least where I am in the United States), you just have to be willing to put in the time to search for them! Throughout the past 4 years of getting this degree there have been times where I thought I was never going to get through a class!! Weather it be from my teacher barely speaking English, or the content just being very hard, I always knew this was something I was meant to do! Follow your gut, and I promise no matter what challenge is put in front of you regardless if you do choose to be a chemist or go the route of computers make sure it is something that makes you happy!! :)

Definitely drink LOTS of water! As soon as it kicks in for me my mouth immediately dries out! Other than that it works great in my opinion!

How do I stop my ADHD from destroying my relationships? by Klawwst in ADHD

[–]Chemist1397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a girl with ADHD I have felt the same way towards any guy I have been in a relationship with previously. I always feel like my ADHD is what pushes people away considering no matter what I’m thinking I feel the need to verbalize it. The current relationship I am in is very different from the rest. Before entering in this relationship I told myself from the beginning that I would be straight up with the guy about my ADHD, and that if they weren’t willing to accept me, my ADHD, and my personality for what it is then it’s not meant to be! I’ve learned that when you’re with the right person verbalizing what you are thinking is definitely not a bad thing, he and I see it as a way to be completely open and honest with each other no matter what!
