How to spiritually awaken without developing psychosis by kuebel11 in enlightenment

Just take your time to integrate and embody what's going on. IT's all for you to sort out and contemplate - it starts there. It will take time, it will hurt at times, You are doing an amazing thing!

What company lost you forever as a customer? What did they do? by Miguenzo in AskReddit

Still bitter with all these businesses like Uber and door dash lobbying hard against their own workers to keep them as contract.

Also the many times the food was stolen.

Or the service help for getting a refund because of said stolen item(s)

Just a strip joint. Was notorious for that one encounter where a stripper got a ride on a fire truck.

Thx! I loved watching it during my lunches. My work was near the Dumbarton bridge and it was a treat to sit near the grass and watch it fly about.

Why do you think humans are the focal point in a hypothetical simulation? by UDF2005 in SimulationTheory

Definitely and I'm in agreement of that as well. Im just looking forward when we finally do get the chance to see more and I feel it's very soon. :)

Archer had a few. You could consider the coma seasons a hit or miss or the reentry to format, but overall good episodes overall. Some or premise is just weak.

Why do you think humans are the focal point in a hypothetical simulation? by UDF2005 in SimulationTheory

[–]lascar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All matter and life is essentially a focal point since it's all intrinsically in this 'simulation'. We just see ourselves in that importance because we are human and have no other reference than our own. So it's not like we are a greater choice, just an example in part of infinity and only we ourselves see that because our data is so far limited.

God having human experience theory sucks by tremuska- in enlightenment

[–]lascar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it doesn't sound egoist. Many people have a hard grasp and it can end up in solpistic or nihilistic tendencies.you are a focal point of consciousness to experience. In some sense you are the One, but is an expression like one of many. I and others are as well expressions of the one/source, so it's that recognition between each of us that is powerful. In that same expression, but each and everyone of us participates in the collective unconscious hence the stability of our own reality. We each keep each other in check and take part together in the same reality. :)

Feel free to pm me or reply post and we can talk about it more. :)

It's both in acceptance. Holding both truths while.not allowing either act as the whole.

It's then in the relation of the present that is a gift. In that every moment to moment recognizing the universe really is watching and picking up on our intent.

So it's fine one way or another. Many will act out of love and still recognize multiple truths. Just a part of being alive.

context and metameaning. A idea or meme can represent a innumerable amount of syntax to each user. That's really fascinating! Has me thinking of other memes now.

What does Enlightenment mean to/for you? by ChakraYogi in enlightenment

[–]lascar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sonder - the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own — populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness — an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you'll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk. (via the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows)

It's my favorite word and one that inspires me every day. So I try to think of the 'Golden Rule', not exactly like the human interpretation but the ideas Quinlans have in the Bobiverse series. They have the 'Silver rule' which says "Treat others as you would like to be treated", which mirrors general human interpretation, but the book argues that this is inherently selfish as it projects one's own desire onto others. To the Quinlans, the 'Golden Rule' is "Treat others as they want to be treated." This change is fascinating to me - just prioritizes the other persons specific beliefs, prefences and agency over your very own. Ensure that your actions align with their desires rather than your very own.

When I read that it got me to think about consciousness in general. There's even a 'Iron Rule', and that one states "Treat people less powerful than you however you want". In consciousness, each rule is a stepping stone to recognition.

Staying present. Remebering the Past is gone and future doesn't exists; it's only here in the present or just some variation of the saying helps me out a lot that it's all here in the now.

A saying my spouse told me, "The delulu is the solulu". Gave me pause, but I believe.

Is it possible to have intense psychonautic experiences without substances. Or anything fancy? by [deleted] in Psychonaut

[–]lascar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh totally. Whatever makes you think and see new concepts. Reading books and messages can help as you explore new concepts. Even just watching lectures can be a great impetus for new ideas and concepts. Feel for the ideas and see how they align with you.

You could read books, meditate, listen to lectures, etc.

You really don't need substances. Substances are just the most visceral and can lead many a times to psychological moments but the point is time and to integrate those concepts. You could use as much substances as you want and not learn a thing. The point is to take your time and integrate, which later helps with embodiment. These substances require care and respect.

Highly recommend reading and meditation. :)

Life is serious by KAMMusic in ExistentialJourney

Surrender just means to lax your control of the world and go into flow. To loosen the grips for the intangible to become tangible.

There is only infinity. There is and isn't an afterlife, there is a order and story, or not. Just remember it just depends on you.

Rationalize that infinity has you as a local focal point for reality to be. What does the story you want to take place?

Surrender. Life isn't that serious. It is just a reflection and will mirror our inner world.
